Director Raihan Rafi being optimistic about Poran
With the films ‘Dohon’ and ‘Poramon’, director Raihan Rafi has become a familiar face in Dhaliwood in a very short time. He finished the work of each movie by setting goals and objectives. In that sense, Raihan Rafi is quite optimistic about the movie 'Poran' made for the cinema hall.
In the new era of OTT, when everyone is rushing to the online media with movies, he is moving forward with his plan right. Closing cinema halls indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak did not make him discouraged. Rather, in addition to 'Poran', he is going to present two more movies called 'Damal' and 'Ittefaq' to get the audience back to the cinema hall.

The real-life story behind the Poran movie
It all started on June 26, 2019. In front of Barguna Government College, wife Minni was trying her best to save her husband Rifat from being stabbed by terrorists. This horrific video footage went viral on social and print media.
After a two-month police investigation, a charge sheet was filed in the district magistrate's court with Minni as the main witness and Sabbir Ahmed Nayan alias Nayanbond as the main accused. It comes out with all the sensational information about Rifat's murder.
Minni had a marital relationship with both Rifat and Nayan. Husband Rifat's objection to sharing a video of Minni's birthday on social media started a rift between Rifat and Minni. At one stage of the argument, Rifat physically injured Minni. As a result, in order to take revenge, Minni made Nayanbond kill Rifat.

In a nutshell
Poran, based on a real-life story, is not just a film about a love triangle. Rather, it exhibits the extreme decadence of contemporary social values. The movie will present thrilling entertainment to the audience in the continuation of director Raihan Rafi's social reform content. He has already shaken the conscience of the public through the film 'Janowar'. In that light, the Poran movie can also be a creative reflection of a true event.
