OnePlus 9RT Review: Huge Camera Updates with Clean, Minimalist Design
Ready for OnePlus' stretchiest phone yet? OnePlus has launched the fourth phone of the 9 series, the OnePlus 9RT, in China on October 13, 2021. However, it is an upgrade of the OnePlus 9R. The 9 series is great for the camera, speed, and sleek design. Nevertheless, the 9RT will not let the users down as it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Like the OnePlus 9 and 9R, the 9RT comes with the LPDDR5 RAM supported by UFS 3.1 storage. Let’s check out the key features of the OnePlus 9RT.

Design and display
Apparently, the OnePlus 9RT has a glass back with a metal frame which comes in Dark Matter, Sky Blue, and Silver shades. On the top left corner, there is a large camera block. Further, a punch-hole camera is located on the top left of the screen.
The dimension of 9RT is 162.2 x 74.6 x 8.29mm and has a weight of 198.5g. Hence, it is heavier as well as larger than the ancestors' OnePlus 9 or even the OnePlus 9R. But it is designed in ways that resemble tiny and slimmer. The body has a sleek design with curved edges, making it easier to hold and use.

The back part of the phone is slightly curvy, but the front screen is flat. However, the bezel-less display size is 6.62 along with 1080x 2400 for 397 pixels/inch. The good thing about the 9RT display is, it has a 20:9 aspect ratio on the AMOLED display, which has a 120Hz refresh rate, which helps to look so much clearer and supports HDR10+. The phone's brightness level is up to 1,300 nits.

However, the rear camera is capable of taking 4K quality video at 60fps. Further, the camera can also capture HDR and panorama with dual-LED flash. With the high-quality rear camera, anyone can take 2160p images with a tap.

The OnePlus 9RT comes with Li-Po 4,500mAh nonremovable battery, which supports a 65W charging facility. Since the battery is powerful, it charges fast too. As per the advertisement, the battery can be charged 100% in just 19 minutes.
Performance and Software
The OnePlus 9 RT featured ColorOS 11.X based on Android 11 out of the box. It is an efficient, richly designed, highly customizable operating system that supports multiple languages and is used by more than 300 million users across the world. The customizable and easy-to-use user interface may help anyone use the phone with no effort.
When it comes to the performance of the phone, it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, which is also available on the OnePlus 9 series as well as other 2021 flagship phones. Although the OnePlus 9RT doesn't have any external memory, it will satisfy the users with variations of internal memories. It comes with three variations in internal memory: 256GB 12GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM, and 256GB 8GB RAM.
Network and Connectivity
For the network, the user can insert a nano sim. Nonetheless, it comes with a dual sim feature with dual standby. The connectivity features include Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, DLNA, Dual-band, hotspot, Bluetooth v5.20, 3G, 4G, and 5G network. It also supports USB Type-C 3.1 port, USB on the go, and NFC. Further, the sensors include an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass/ magnetometer, in-display fingerprint sensor, and gyroscope. Although the 9RT supports a 5G network, the 5G feature may not be usable in most of the counties where 5G is yet to be rolled out. It offers dual-band A GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, and BDS.

However, the wireless change is not available on the OnePlus 9RT. Hence, the fast charging cable is the only option to juice the battery. Also, it doesn't have the headphone jack feature; hence the user will need to connect Bluetooth headset for the audio connectivity. But, users will have the loudspeaker option with the stereo speakers. It doesn't offer any radio streaming option, but the user can download any radio apps and use it through the phone data or internet.
Price of OnePlus 9RT
As the phone comes in a different variation, it has different prices for different variations. However, the basic one with 8GB+128GB will cost $579, which is approximately Tk. 50,000.
