President Hamid left London's Heathrow Airport for Dhaka at 5.50 pm (London time) Monday. Bangladesh High Commissioner to the UK Saida Muna Tasneen and senior officials of the country's mission in London saw off the President at the airport. He travelled to London from Berlin on October 19. The 77-year-old President has long been suffering from glaucoma, a group of eye conditions that damage the optical nerve.
