Dhaka University (DU) on Thursday published the admission test results of the Cha unit under the fine arts faculty. DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman published the results from Abdul Motion Chowdhury virtual classroom in the presence of Fine Arts faculty dean Prof Nisar Hossain.  Read: 8.58% students pass DU 'Gha' unit entry test Of a total of 6,156 examinees, only 241 successful students can now apply for admission against a total of 130 seats. Faria Nowshin Ahmed Apon bagged the first position in the test, scoring 100.5 out of 120. Oishee Rani Mondol secured the second position in the test scoring 98.94, while Mohammad Forhad Ali came third with a score of 98.84. Successful students have time till July 30 to apply for their choice of subject.

An enforcement team of the Anti-Corruption Commission on Tuesday  met the officials of Bangladesh Textile University to check on the spot alleged irregularities in admission test results. Deputy Director of ACC Public relation office Muhammad Arif Sadeq told UNB that the enforcement team headed by Assistant Director Mohammad Niyamul Ahsan Ghazi. They informed the team that the results of the admission test for the BSc in Textile Engineering course of Bangladesh Textile University for the year 2020-21, published on Nov 11,2021 were found to be erroneous due to technical defects in the software.   The result was withdrawn on November 18, 2021 while the corrected results were re-published as per the decision of the meeting of the Admission Committee on 19-11-2021, the university authorities informed. The results of  Dhaka University ‘Kha’ unit admission test for 2020-21 academic session were published Tuesday with a pass rate 16.89 per cent. Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman unveiled the results at Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury virtual classroom at noon. DU Pro-VC (Administration) Mohammad Samad, Treasurer Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, dean of DU arts faculty and convener of the admission committee Prof Dr Abu Md Delwar Hossain, online admission committee convener Prof Dr Md Mostafizur Rahman were, among others, present. The admission test results are available on university website admission.eis.du.ac.bd. It can also be checked by sending SMS 'DU Kha ' to 16321. The admission test of ‘Kha’ unit  was held on October 2.
