ICC World Cup 2023 Tickets: How to Buy Online, Booking, Prices, Starting Dates and Timings
The 2023 ICC Men’s ODI World Cup is set to begin on October 5. The opening match will feature the current champions, England, facing off against New Zealand. India will be hosting the tournament, spread across 10 different cities in the country. The final match of the competition is scheduled to take place on November 19. After much speculation, ICC finally announced the sale of the tickets. In this World Cup, ICC will sell tickets phase-wise, and the first phase’s tickets are already available for booking. Let’s get to know everything about ICC World Cup 2023 tickets.
ICC World Cup Tickets Phases
To make sure that lots of fans get a fair shot at seeing the world’s top players, tickets will be sold in different phases. The first phase will include tickets for warm-up matches that don’t involve India and matches in the event that don’t feature India. These tickets were released on August 25, 2023.
You can book the tickets for 44 matches that don’t involve India in phase one. These matches will be held at ten top-notch venues in ten host cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune. You can also get tickets for the warm-up matches happening in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram.

After the first phase, tickets were released in five phases: August 30, August 31, September 1, September 2, and September 3.
Next, tickets for the semifinals and the final match were released on September 15.
So, all these tickets are available to buy now. However, to get your hands on tickets, you’ll need to sign up on the World Cup website before that.
According to ICC, due to high demand, they released an additional 400,000 tickets on September 8. While tickets for most of the matches are still available, the tickets for matches featuring India are yet to be released. However, tickets for some matches are sold out too.

How to Buy ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Tickets?
You can go to https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com/ to buy tickets online. This page will let you book tickets by team or by venue. So, if you want to buy tickets by team, you can click on your favorite team, and a new page will open up and show all the matches of that team. After that, you can click on the desired match and click on the ‘Book’ button to give your details.
Alternatively, if you want to buy tickets by the venue, you can click on the venue and see the matches at that venue. Next, click on the match and book.
Once you click on the book, it will ask you to register using your email or Indian phone number. After logging in, you can choose the number of tickets. Keep in mind that you can only book 4 tickets for one match from one account. Once you pick the number of tickets, in the next step, you can choose the location from the seating plan. In the next step, you will need to make the payment and choose the ticket delivery option. You can choose between home delivery and pickup from the box office. Nevertheless, a delivery fee is applicable for home delivery. All tickets charge a booking fee of 60 rupees.

How to Book ICC World Cup 2023 Tickets Online from Bangladesh?
You will need international debit or credit cards to book ICC World Cup Tickets from Bangladesh. You can follow the above-mentioned steps to buy tickets from Bangladesh. You may not choose the delivery option. But you can surely collect your booked tickets from the box office.

ICC World Cup 2023 Tickets Pricing Details
The price for the Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka warm-up match starts from 200 rupees (approximately BDT 265, Rs. 1 = 1.32 BDT). The ticket prices for other matches start from Rs. 300 (approximately BDT 396, Rs. 1 = 1.32 BDT).
Depending on the games, the price for the main event matches in the group stage starts at Rs. 450 (approximately BDT 594; Rs. 1 = 1.32 BDT).

Bangladesh-England series tickets to go on sale in Chattogram Sunday
The port city of Chattogram is set to host Bangladesh-England's third ODI and first T20 matches, and the ticket prices have been announced for the event.
All the matches will be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
The grandstand and rooftop hospitality tickets have been priced at Tk1,500, international stand tickets at Tk1,000, club house at Tk500, eastern stand at Tk300, and western stand at Tk200.

Tickets can be purchased from the Shagarika Ticket Counter near Bitac Circle and the MA Aziz Stadium Ticket Counter. The tickets for each format of matches will be available on the previous day of the match (March 5 and 8) and on the match days (March 6 and 9) from 9:30am to 7:00pm.
Bangladesh lost the ODI series with consecutive defeats in the first two matches in Mirpur. However, the Tigers will look to win the last ODI to end the series on a high note.
After the ODI series, both teams will compete in a three-match T20I series. The last two matches of the series will take place in Dhaka.

BPL 2023: Tickets for Final Available on Wednesday
Tickets for the final of the ongoing season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will be available for purchase from tomorrow, Wednesday, 15 February 2023.
The final of BPL 2023 promises to be an exciting event for cricket fans, with an added bonus of a grand concert featuring some of the best local bands and singers.
According to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief executive officer, Nizam Uddin Chowdhury, the concert is expected to start at approximately 3 pm on match day, followed by the final match at 6:30 pm.
Fans can buy tickets for the match from the Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur and the ticket booth adjacent to Gate 1 of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, also in Mirpur.
The ticket prices for the different stands are as follows: Grand Stand - TK 2,000, VIP Stand - TK 1,500, Club House - TK 800, North/South Stand - TK 400, and Eastern Stand - TK 300.
The tickets will be sold on match day and the day before. Ticket counters and booths will open from 9:30 am and continue until 7:30 pm, subject to the availability of tickets.

Shohoz says issued 1 crore train tickets in 4 months
The Bangladesh Railway's online ticketing partner Shohoz-Synesis-Vincen-JV has claimed to have issued around 1 crore train tickets in the last four months.
The ticket service provider issued 80,000 to 1 lakh tickets online and over the counters on average daily, according to a media statement.
Shohoz started issuing train tickets on March 25 this year at 77 stations by counter panel software following its contract with the Railway.

Despite allegations of scams in online ticketing, Shohoz claimed to have issued more than 16 lakh tickets during Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha.
The vendor signed an agreement with the authority on February 15 to operate the ticketing system of the Railway.
In 1994, a computer-based ticketing system was introduced in the Railway. At that time, only 27 stations used to issue tickets through the system, but now, 81 stations use it.

Biman starts selling Dhaka-Toronto-Dhaka tickets
Biman Bangladesh Airlines started selling tickets on Sunday for flights on the Dhaka-Toronto-Dhaka route as the national flag carrier is going to operate flights on the route from July 27.Passengers can buy tickets for this route from the airline's commercial www.biman-airlines.com, said Tahera Khandaker, general manager (public relations) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.Tickets can also be collected from any of the airline's sales centers, call centers 01990997997 and airline authorised travel agencies, she said.However, the purchase of tickets from a travel agency in Canada is still in the Activation stage.The national flag carrier will operate two flights a week. The flight from Dhaka will depart every Wednesday and Sunday for Toronto and the return flight from Toronto will also depart for Dhaka on the same days.Biman's brand new Boeing 8-9 Dreamliner aircraft will be used on the Dhaka-Toronto route.The national flag carriers have already completed all formalities to operate flights on the Dhaka-Toronto-Dhaka route from July 27.Flight BG305 of Biman will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 3:30 am (local time) every Wednesday from July 27 for Toronto and land in Toronto at 1:55 pm (local time).On Sunday, Biman will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 3 am (local time) for Toronto and land in Toronto at 1:25 pm (local time).Flight BG306, returning from Toronto, will leave for Dhaka at 7:30 pm (local time) on Wednesday and land in Dhaka at 9:30 pm on Thursday (local time.On Sunday, Biman will leave for Dhaka at 9:00 pm (local time) and land in Dhaka at 11:00 pm on Monday (local time).

Tickets out for ‘Cricket Celebrates Mujib 100’
The sale of tickets for ‘Cricket Celebrates Mujib 100’, an event to mark the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, opened on Monday at Mirpur’s Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium.
The celebration, also featuring Indian film composer A.R. Rahman, will take place on March 29 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The ticket prices range from BDT 1000 to 10,000 for the different sections in the gallery.
Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina is expected to witness the event in person.

Security around the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium has already been beefed up with deployment of special security forces.
Tickets will be sold from 10 am to 5 pm on March 28 and 29.
Indian Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman will perform at the event along with Bangladeshi stars, including Momtaz Begum and the musical group Miles.
Rahman arrived in Dhaka on Monday afternoon.

Cricket returns to Bangladeshi fans: Tickets go on sale on Thursday
Tickets for Bangladesh- Pakistan T20I series will go on sale on Thursday as the authorities are allowing limited number of spectators in stadium maintaining Covid-19 health protocols. And along with Saheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium at Mirpur, tickets will be available at the tickets booth at gate number 1 of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, the venue of the tournament. All the matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, and the matches will start at 2pm.
