Ind Cup Football: Bashundhara Kings reach final eliminating Police FC 3-1
Bashundhara Kings smarty reached the final of the season's curtain raiser soccer meet, the Bashundhara Group Independent Cup Football' 2022 eliminating Bangladesh Police FC by 3-1 goal in the 2nd semifinal at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium in Gopalganj on Thursday.
They will play Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra in the final on Monday (December 5) at 1 pm at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla
Two losing semifinalists-- Defending champions Dhaka Abahani Limited will play Bangladesh Police FC in the 3rd place deciding match on Sunday (December 4), also at 1pm at the Bir Shrestha Fl Lt Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
In the day's 2nd semifinal, Brazilian striker cum team captain Robson Robinho put the star-studded Kings ahead in the 13th minute from a penalty (1-0)..
Rakib Hossain doubled the Kings margin in the 65th minute (2-0).
Brazilian striker Dorielton scored the 3rd goal for the Kings in the 73rd minute (3-0).
Forward Edward scored the consolation goal for Police FC in the stoppage time (90+1 minute) of the match (3-1).
Later, Kings local forward Rakib Hossain was adjudged the man of the match.

Iranian defender of Police FC Habibi got marching order in the match after receiving direct red card.
In the first semis on Wednesday, Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra forced out holders Dhaka Abahani Limited beating them by 3-2 goal.
Earlier, Dhaka Abahani Limited qualified for the semi-final eliminating Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club by 2-1 goal while Sheikh Russell KC booked a seat for the last four stage eliminating Chittagong Abahani Limited by 1-0 goal in the quarterfinals.
Bangladesh Police FC qualified for the semis defeating Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad KC by 5-4 goal while big budgeted Bashundhara Kings made a semifinal berth beating Dhaka Mohammedan SC by 2-0 goal in their respective quarterfinals.

Defending champions Dhaka Abahani Limited will play Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra in the first semifinal of the season's curtain raiser soccer meet, the Bashundhara Group Independent Cup Football' 2022 at the Bir Shrestha Fl Lt Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Wednesday. Bashundhara Kings will face Bangladesh Police FC in the 2nd semifinal at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium in Gopalganj on Thursday (December 1)

The final match will be held on Monday (December 5) at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla while the 3rd place deciding match between two losing semifinalists will be held on Sunday (December 4) in Munshiganj.
All the four knock out basis matches will kick off at 1 pm. Earlier, Dhaka Abahani Limited qualified for the semi-final eliminating Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club by 2-1 goal while Sheikh Russell KC booked a seat for the last four stage eliminating Chittagong Abahani Limited by 1-0 goal in the quarterfnals.

Ind Cup Football: Dhaka Mohammedan reach quarterfinal beating Fortis FC 3-1
Dhaka Mohammedan SC reached the quarterfinal of the season’s curtain raiser soccer meet, the Bashundhara Group Independent Cup Football 2022 from Group A beating Fortis Football Club by 3-1 goals at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla on Thursday.
This was the 2nd consecutive win for the Dhaka Mohammedan SC in the meet after beating Bangladesh Navy by 2-0 goals in their first match.
Mohammedan will play Sheikh Russel KC on November 21 to decide the Group A champions.
In the day's match, all the four goals were scored in the first half.

Mali striker Souleymane Diabate put the traditional black and white team ahead in the 6th minute (1-0) while Brazlian forward Luis Carlo leveled the margin for Fortis FC in the 14th minute (1-1).
Mohamedan again took lead in the 26th minute by a goal from Brazilain player Oliveira 2-1) and local booter Jafor further sounded the Mohammedan margin in the 39th minute (3-1).
In the day's other match, Sheikh Russel KC tasted the first victory in the tournament beating all losers Bangladesh Navy by 2-0 goals at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium in Gopalganj on Thursday
Sheikh Russel KC played 1-1 draw with Fortis FC in their first appurtenance.

Dhaka Abahani Limited made a good start in the season's curtain raiser soccer meet, the Bashundhara Group Independent Cup Football 2022 beating Uttara Football Club by 2-0 goal in a Group C match at the Bir Shreshta Fl. Lt Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Tuesday.
Brazilian forward Gertterson put Abahani KC ahead in the 34th minute (1-0) while Uttara FC defender Rakib Hossain doubled the Abahani margin scoring a suicidal goal in the 43rd minute (2-0).

In the day's other Group C match, Bangladesh Muktijjoddha Sangsad KC outplayed Bangladesh Air Force team by 5-1 goal at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla on Tuesday.
Faisal struck twice in the 44th and 90+3 minutes, Rabby, Sojib and Tajuddin scored one each for the freedom fighters’ team in the 28th, 69th and 90+4 minutes respectively.
Sumon scored the consolation goal for the Air Force team in the 76th minute.

Ind Cup Football: Kings reach quarterfinals with all-win run
Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) champions Bashundhara Kings smartly reached the quarterfinals of the season’s curtain raiser soccer meet, the Independence Cup Football’ 21, beating Chittagong Abahani Limited by 3-0 goals in the last group match at the Bir Shrestha Shahid Shipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur here on Wednesday.
With the day’s feat, star studded Kings emerged Group D champions with all-win record securing full nine points from straight three matches while Chittagong Abahani finished last in the four–team group to make their early exit from the tournament with two points from three matches.

In the day’s match, Brazilian forward Robson Robinho scored first for the Kings in the 22nd minute (1-0) , Medio Mohammad Ibrahim widen the Kings margin in the 83th minute (2-0) while midfielder Matin Miah sealed the fate of the match scoring one more goal in the 88th minute (3-0)
In the day’s other match, Bangladesh Police FC confirmed their quarterfinal berth from group D after playing 1-1 draw with Bangladesh Navy at the same venue Wednesday afternoon.
After a barren first half, forward SM Bablu put Police FC ahead in the 52nd minute (10) while Brazilian defender Danilo Augusto scored a suicidal goal for Police in the 74th minute (1-1). After the match, both the Police FC and Bangladesh Navy, have secured two points each from all the three matches. But, Police FC moved into the last eight stage by virtue of conceding less goals than the Navy.

The quarterfinals matches of the meet will begin on Friday (Dec 10).
The Group A champions Dhaka Abahani Limited will play Group C runners-up Bangladesh Army in the first quarterfinal while Group C champions Saif SC will encounters Group A runners-up Swadhinata KS in the 2nd quarterfinal on the same day (Friday).
Group B champions Sheikh Russel KC will play Group D runners-up Police FC in the 3rd quarterfinal on Sunday (Dec 12) while Group D champions Bashundhara Kings will face Group B runners-up Sheikh Jamal DC in the 4th quarterfinal on the same day (Sunday).

Ind Cup Football: Saif SC, BD Army reach quarterfinals
Saif Sporting Club and Bangladesh Army reached the quarterfinals of Riviera Independence Cup Football’ 21 from Group C as both the group matches ended in 1-1 draw at the Bir Shrestha Shahid Shapahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Monday.
Bangladesh Army played to a 1-1 draw with Muktijoddha Sangad KC in the day’s first match Monday afternoon while Dhaka Mohammedan SC coming from behind shard points with Saif Sporting Club also in 1-1 affairs in the day’s other match in the evening.

After the day’s matches, Saif SC smarty qualified for the knock out stage with unbeaten record securing seven points from three matches while Bangladesh Army managed a quarterfinal berth collecting four points from three matches in head to head counting.
With the day’s 1-1 draw, the freedom fighters team Muktijoddha SKC made their early exit from the season’s curtain raiser meet with one point from three matches, despite they dominated the first half by 1-0 goal.
Mohammedan SC was also eliminated from the meet in early stage despite securing four points from three matches in head to head counting, losing to Army by 1-2 goals.
In the day’s first match, Egyptian forward Ahmed Ayman Abdalazem put Muktijoddha SKC ahead in the very 8th minute (1-0) while midfielder Samimul Haque restored the parity for Army in the 88th minute (1-1).

Mahbub Alam of Army team got marching order after receiving two yellow cards in the match.
In the day’s 2nd match, Nigerian forward Sunday Udoh scored first for Saif SC in the 45th minute while Rajib leveled the margin for black and white Mohammedan in the stoppage time of the match (90+1 minute).

Dhaka Mohammedan SC made a good start in the season’s curtain raiser meet, the Independence Cup Football 21 beating Muktijoddha Sangsad KC by 2-1 goals at Bir Shrestha Shahid Shapahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium, Kamalapur on Sunday.
Souleymane Diabate put Mohammedan SC ahead in the 36th minute (1-0) while Shahed Miah doubled the black and whites margin in the 50th minute (2-0).

Two former league champions --Sheikh Russel KC and Sheikh Jamal DC--made a good start in the 15-team Independence Cup Football’ 21 beating their rivals in two opening day’s matches of the Riviera Independence Cup Football ’21 at Bir Shrestha Shahid Shipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur here on Saturday.
Earlier, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni inaugurated the meet at a simple ceremony on Saturday afternoon.
In the day’s inaugural match, Sheikh Russel KC defeated Uttar Baridhara Club by 1-0 goal.
Mannaf Rabbi scored the match-winner for Sheikh Russel KC in the 59th minute.
In the day’s other match, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club made a flying start outplaying Bangladesh Air Force team by 3-0 goals Saturday evening.
Uzbek booter Otabek put Sheikh Jamal Dc ahead in the 16th minute (1-0), Gambian booter Solomon King doubled the margin in the 52 minute (2-0) while Shohanur sealed the fate of the match scoring the 3rd goal for Sheikh Jamal in the in the 54th minute (3-0).
On Sunday, Mohammedan SC will encounter Muktijoddha Sangsad KC at 4 pm while Saif SC will encounter Bangladesh Army at 6 pm at the same venue.
Dhaka Abahani Ltd will meet newcomers Swadhinata KS at 5:45 pm on Monday at the same venue.
A total 15 teams including 12 premier division league clubs and three services teams, split into four groups, are initially taking part on league basis matches from November 27 to December 8.
Participating teams are:

Later, four group champions and runners-up teams, will play in the quarterfinals on December 10 and 12. The two semifinals will be held on December 14 and the final match will be held on December 18.

Sheikh Russel KC will play Uttar Baridhara Club in the opening match of the season’s curtain raiser soccer meet, the Independence Cup Football’ 21, beginning on Saturday at the Bir Shrestha Shahid Shipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur here.
The match will kick off at 4 pm. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will face Bangladesh Air Force at 6 pm in the day‘s other opening fixture at the same venue.
The following day (Sunday), Mohammedan SC will encounter Muktijoddha Sangsad KC at 4 pm while Dhaka Abahani Ltd will meet newcomers Swadhinata KS at 5:45 pm at the same venue.
