FM lauds FOSA initiatives
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen on Saturday appreciated the efforts made by the Foreign Office Spouses’ Association (FOSA) which hosted a daylong "International Charity Bazaar" at the Foreign Service Academy.
“I am very proud of them. Every year, they are coming up with more innovative ways of doing it,” he said.

Momen said the FOSA members spent plenty of time in organizing a series of events and assured them of extending support from his Ministry to organize such events in a larger way.

FOSA pays tributes to Bangabandhu at Tungipara
The executive committee (EC) of the Foreign Office Spouses' Association (FOSA), a not-for-profit organisation, has paid tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at his mausoleum in Tungipara, Gopalganj.
The association led by its chief patron Selina Momen, wife of Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen, placed a wreath on Bangabandhu's grave, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a media statement Saturday.
FOSA patron Ayesha Akhtar, wife of State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam, and President Fahmida Jabeen were also present.
The FOSA EC members also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul of Bangabandhu and other martyrs of August 15.

FOSA hosts Eid Charity Fair in city
The Foreign Office Spouses Association (FOSA), a not-for-profit organisation, organized an Eid Charity Mela (Fair) in the capital on Saturday.
Selina Momen, chief patron of FOSA and wife of Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, inaugurated the Eid Charity Mela at the Foreign Service Academy (FSA) auditorium at Bailey Road.

The day-long fair showcased and sold traditional and boutique products of Bangladesh.

FOSA to hold Eid Charity Mela at FSA Saturday
The Foreign Office Spouses Association (FOSA), a not-for-profit organisation, will hold an Eid charity fair in the capital Saturday.
Selina Momen, chief patron of FOSA and wife of Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, will inaugurate the Eid Charity Mela at the Foreign Service Academy (FSA) auditorium in Baily Road.
The day-long fair will showcase and sell traditional and boutique products of Bangladesh.
There will also be products from different countries of the world collected through Bangladesh missions.
The fair will be open to everyone from 10am to 8pm, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
FOSA members in Bangladesh missions abroad hold and engage in events to promote the country.
In Dhaka, the association also observes some of the occasions to present those before the international community.

The association led by its chief patron Selina Momen, wife of Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, paid the homage by visiting the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi-32 on Friday, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a media release on Saturday.
