3 bikers killed in Manikganj road crashes
Three bikers have been killed and three others injured in separate road accidents in Manikganj district.
The deceased were identified as Abdullah Al Amin, 45, Zubayer, 14, and Haji Mia, 26, of the district.
In Shibalay upazila, Al Amin's motorcycle crashed into a truck on Dhaka-Paturia highway in Arpara area around 11am on Monday, leaving him dead on spot, said Zakir Hossain, in-charge of Barangail Highway Police.
Pillion rider Tauhidul Islam was injured and rushed to Shibalaya Upazila Health Complex.
Police seized the truck, however, its driver managed to flee the scene, said the official.

In Ghior upazila, a bus hit a motorcycle on Dhaka-Paturia highway near Baniajuri area this morning, leaving Zubayer dead on spot and his friend Tushar injured.
Tushar is undergoing treatment at Munnu Medical College and Hospital, said the highway police outpost in-charge Zakir Hossain.
On Sunday night, an unidentified vehicle hit Haji Mia's motorcycle on Singair-Hemayetpur road in Char Nayadingi area, leaving him dead on spot and his pillion rider injured, said the official.
The injured is undergoing treatment at Upazila Health Complex.
The bodies were sent to Manikganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, the official added.

Bikers crushed under wheels of car in Narayanganj
Two youths riding a bike were crushed under the wheels of a car on Dhaka-Araihazar Road in Narayanganj on Thursday, police said.
The deceased were identified as Laden, 18, a resident of Shilmandi area of Narsingdi district, and his friend Riyadh, 20, of Pratap area of the same district.

According to police, the duo fell off the bike while trying to overtake the car at high speed in the Araihazar area and came under the rear wheels of the four-wheeler.
Araihazar Police Station officer-in-charge Anichur Rahman Mollah said that the two youths died on the spot. "We have seized the private car and arrested its driver."

The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the morgue of Sadar Hospital for autopsy, he added.

Three bikers killed in Bagerhat road crash
Three young men returning home from a local village fair were killed when their speeding bike crashed into an electric pole in Bagerhat district late on Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Bayezid Hossain, 22, son of Jahangir Hossain, Zakaria, 20, son of Kuddus of Mongla municipality area, and Sakib, 20, son of Asad of Morelganj upazila of the district.

The accident occurred around 11.45pm when the bike they were riding went out of control and rammed the pole at high speed on Moukhali Bridge in Mongla upazila of the district, said Bikash Chandra, officer-in-charge of Mongla Police Station.
The crash left the three seriously injured, he said, adding that they died on their way to Mongla upazila health complex.

4 bikers killed in road crashes in Mymensingh, Rajshahi
Four people were killed in separate road accidents in Mymensingh and Rajshahi districts on Friday.
In Mymensingh, three bikers were killed and another injured when a truck hit their motorcycle on China intersection in Shambhuganj in the evening, leaving three of the bikers dead on spot.

The deceased were identified as Babu Mia, 25, Yasin Ali, 18, and Ripon Mia, 20.
The injured is undergoing treatment at Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital, said Shah Kamal Akand, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Model Police Station.
The bodies were kept in the hospital morgue for autopsy, the OC added.

Meanwhile, in Rajshahi, motorcyclist Firoz Hossain, 16, was killed after his bike collided with a pick-up van on Rajshahi-Kakonhat road at Shulitola area in Godagari upazila around 11am.
Another was injured and is undergoing treatment at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital, said Mahbub Alam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Damkura Police Station.
