Newly appointed Spanish Head Coach of Bangladesh National Football team Javier Fernandez Cabrera visited the Fortis Football Academy in Beraid area of Badda in the capital Thursday afternoon. BFF Technical Director Paul Thomas Smalley and other BFF coaching staff accompanied him. Javier Fernandez also  visited Dhaka Abahani, Uttar Baridhara Club and Saif Sporting Club earlier as a part of new assignment. He visited the Fortis Academy ground, spent sometime with the academy footballers and gave them some tips.  Read: Five Famous Professional Football Players who Retired in 2021 Later, he talked to local sports reporters there and said the academy ground is good and it may be used for the training purposes of the national football team ahead of their planned FIFA International Friendly in next March The newly appointed coach will also witness BPL football matches beginning on February 3 in different venues to select national team after reviewing the BPL performances of the players
