This is the first time the Bangladesh Women's national team is going to compete in the ICC 50-over World Cup after qualifying in November last year. Let's have a look at the Bangladesh Women's Cricket Team's squad and schedule for the World Cup in 2022.
Bangladesh Squad for the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022
Bangladesh's top pacer Jahanara Alam has been selected for the 2022 Women's World Cup. Jahanara was dropped from the Commonwealth Games Cricket Qualifier 2022 because of a disciplinary issue, which caused quite a stir in the country. However, the selectors couldn't overlook Jahanara for the huge event.
Aside from that, all of the expected names have been chosen for the 2022 World Cup. Nigar Sultana Joty will lead the Bangladesh women's squad during the world cup.

Bottom Line
The Bangladesh team will face all of the tournament's participants in the upcoming ICC 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup 2022. It seems that the Bangladesh Women's team has a very limited chance of qualifying for the semi-finals, given the strength of the other teams. Not to mention, participating in the ICC World Cup for the first time is a significant achievement for Bangladesh. The players of the Bangladesh team are expected to gain valuable experience playing in New Zealand's adverse conditions, which would help their development as international players.
