Two people including a child were killed as a minibus hit a three-wheeler  on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Gazipur on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as passengers of the three-wheeler Marufa Begum, 54, wife of Gauchh Miah, a resident of Kadda Nandun area and Md Limon, 12, son of Nur Alam  of the same area and a 6th grader at Medha Bikash Kindergarten. Read: Two students die in Sherpur road crash Basan police station SI Matiuzzaman said when the three-wheeler was going to Chandna-Chourasta area from Konabari area a minibus of Taqwa Paribahan lost control and hit it from behind on Dhaka-Tangail highway leaving Limon dead on the spot. Seriously injured Marufa was taken to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital where doctors declared her dead, he said. The minibus driver managed to escape with the bus, he added.
