Bangladesh Championship League: NoFel SC beat Swadhinata KS 3-1
NoFel Sporting Club defeated Swadhinata Krira Sangha 3-1 in the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football 2022-23 at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka's Kamalapur Saturday.
Elias opened the winners' account in the 12th minute; Abid struck twice in the 40th and 47th minutes.
Sagor scored the lone goal for Swadhinata in the 70th minute.

In the day's other match, BFF Elite Academy outplayed Little Friends Club 3-0 at the same venue.

BPL Football: Holders Bashundhara Kings make good start in 2nd phase beating Swadhinata KS 2-0
Defending champions Bashundhara Kings made a good start in the 2nd phase of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football ‘2022 beating newcomers Swadhinata KS by 2-0 goals in one of the two opening day’s match at the Muktijoddha Smriti Stadium in Rajshahi Sunday afternoon. . With the day’s feat, last two times champions and star studded Bashundhara Kings not only took revenge of their 1-2 goals defeat against bottom-ranked Swadhinata KS in the league opener in last February, but also brightened their position to clinch the league crown for the 3rd time in a row.

Bashundhara Kings, which dominated the league comfortably after the eleven-match first phase, today (Sunday) further consolidated their position in the league table securing 29 points from 12 matches. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club followed them distantly with 24 points from 12 encounters while six time champions Dhaka Abahani Limited were in the 3rd slot collecting 22 points from eleven matches, playing one match less than the Kings and Sheikh Jamal DC. In the day’s match, newly recruited Brazilian midfielder Miguel Ferreira came to the lime light in his very first match scoring both the goals for the Kings in the 28th and 37th minutes respectively.. In the day’s other match, Sheikh Jamal DC advanced to the 2nd slot in the league table toppling Dhaka Abahani beating Uttar Baridhara Club also by 2-0 goals at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium in Gopalganj Sunday afternoon. Nigerian forward Chijioke Alaekwe put Sheikh Jamal ahead in the very 2nd minute (1-0) while another Nigerian striker Musa Najere doubled the winners margin in the 21st minute (2-0).

Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, riding on a hattrick by Matthew Chinedu, beat newcomer Swadhinata KS by 3-1 goals on the resuming day of the 12-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football '2021-22 at the Muktijoddha Smriti Stadium in Rajshahi on Sunday.
Country's most prestigious soccer league BPL, resumed on Sunday at four different venues after a two-week recess for national team's engagements in two FIFA International Friendlies against the Maldives and Mongolia.
With the day's feat, three times champions Sheikh Jamal DC advanced to the 2nd slot in the league table securing 20 points from 10 matches while Swadhinata KS remained at the bottom with six points from 10 encounters.

In the day's match, Nigerian attacking midfielder Matthew Chinedu made a hattrick scoring all the three goals for Sheikh Jamal DC in the 29th, 38th and 67th minutes.
Bosnian striker Nedo Turkovic scored the lone goal for Swadhinata KS in the 53rd minute.
In the day's another league match, Saif Sporting Club outplayed Uttar Baridhara Club by 3-0 goals at Bir Shreshtho Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
Sunday Udoh, Asror Gafurov and Sajjad Shakil scored for Saif SC in the 12th, 45+1 and 65th minutes respectively .
Nasirul Islam of Saif SC and Y Kochnev of Uttar Baridhara Club got marching order after receiving the red cards just three minutes before the final whistle.

Paul Ebimobowel Thankgod and Sohel Rana scored one each for Chittagang Abahani in the 27th and 66th minutes respectively while Soma Otanj scored the lone goal for the freedom fighters team in the 45th minute

A brilliant hattrick by Nigerian striker Emeka Ogbugh enabled Saif SC to earn the biggest victory in the ongoing 12-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football outplaying Swadhinata KS by 5-1 goal at the Muktijoddha Smriti Stadium in Rajshahi Tuesday.
Despite the day's well merited victory, Saif SC remained at the 5th slot in the league table securing 10 points from six matches while newcomers Swadhinata KS remained at 10th place with four points from six outings.

Uzbek attacking midfielder Nodirbek Mavlonov scored the consolation goal for Swadhinata KC in the 49th minute.

Coming from behind, Muktijoddha Sangsad KC got first victory in their 5th match of the 12-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football beating giant-killer Swadhinata Krira Sangha by 2-1 goals at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium in Gopalganj on Friday.
With the day's long awaited victory after suffering four consecutive defeats, Muktijoddha SKC opened their account with three points from five matches to move up to the 11th slot in the league table toppling Rahmatganj MFS , which bagged one point from five encounters.

Newcomers Swadhinata KS, which came to the limelight beating last two times champions Bashindhsra Kings 1-0 in the league opener, remained at the 9th slot with four points from five matches.

But, Muktijoddha SKC levelled the margin by a gifted goal in the 80th minute when Swadhinata KS defender Hasan Murad sent the ball to his own net while trying to foil an attempt of Muktijoddha's Egyptian forward Ahmed Ayman Shamsaldin Abdalazem (1-1)

BPL Football: Swadhinata KS upset Bashundhara Kings 2-1 in opener
Newcomer Swadhinata Krira Sangha made a biggest upset in the opening match of the 12-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football beating last two times champions Bashundhara Kings by 2-1 goal at Shaheed Ahsanullah Master Stadium in Tongi on Thursday.
Bosnian striker Nedo Turkovic put the Swadhinata KS ahead in the 25th minute from a penalty (1-0).
Newcomer Swadhinata KS got the spot kick when Kings midfielder Atiqur Rahman Fahad committed handball in the danger zone .

Local forward Rasel Ahmed doubled the margin for Swadhinata KS in the 47th minute with the frustration of big budgeted B Kings (2-0).
Bashundhara Kings, which looking for a hattrick championship this time, started their league campaign with frustrating note conceding two goals in a row and fielded four substitute players in the match tó change game.
But, the Kings failed to avoid the shameful defeat despite local forward Tawhidul Alam Sabuz reduced the margin scoring a goal in the 73rd minute (2-1).
Once triple crown holders Bashindhara Kings is passing very bad time recently as they suffered a shocking defeat in the day's opener after depriving of the season's two major soccer trophies--Independent Cup and Federation Cup Football.

On Friday, six times champions Dhaka Abahani Ltd will face Muktijoddha Sangsad KC at 3pm in Tongi while Saif Sporting Club will encounter Bangladesh Police FC at 3 pm in Munshiganj.
The eleven- round first phase matches will be held from February 3 to March 19/20 in two venues adjoining the capital-- Shaheed Ahsanullah Master Stadium inTongi Bir Shreshtha Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
