The West Indian team is presently ranked eighth in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League with 50 points. They still need to play three more series to finish in the top eight in the points standings. It would be difficult for them to collect necessary points in the series against Pakistan and New Zealand. On the other hand, the Indian side appeared very competent in this three-match IND vs WI 2022 ODI series. They are currently in third place with 79 points. This Indian squad will definitely be a formidable opponent in the upcoming 2023 World Cup.
