Bangladesh and Jordan have discussed ways to strengthen trade relations between the two countries.

The government has appointed Nahida Sobhan, who is currently serving as the Director General of United Nations Wing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the new ambassador of Bangladesh to Jordan.
