85.95 % pass 2022 HSC, equivalent exams
Results of 2022 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations were published today. The average pass percentage is 85.95 percent.
Education Minister Dipu Moni handed over the result summary to the prime minister earlier today.
After that chairmen of different education boards handed over the results of their respective boards to the PM.
Education Minister Dipu Moni announced the results at International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka.
A total of 10,11, 987 examinees, out of 11,77, 387, passed the 2022 exams under 11 education boards of the country. The number was 13,06,718 in 2021.
For 2022, a total of 1,76,282 students secured the highest grade, GPA 5, compared to 1,89,169 in 2021.

95.26% pass HSC, equivalent examinations
The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations were published on Sunday, showing a pass percentage of 95.26%, 4.74 % lower than previous year’s 100%.
Among the examinees, 95.57% passed the HSC examinations, 95.49% came out successful in Madrasah Board while 92.85% in Technical Board.
A total of 13,06,718 examinees, out of 13,71,681, came out successful in the examinations in all the 11 education boards of the country.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday published the results of HSC and equivalent examinations 2021.
She published the results, joining a function at International Mother Language Institute virtually from her official residence Ganobhaban.
On behalf of the Prime Minister, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni received the results of the HSC and equivalent exams-2021 and related statistics from the chairmen of all the education boards.
This year, a total of 1,89,169 students secured the highest grade GPA 5 against 1,61,807 last year.
Among the successful students, 1,78,522 achieved the highest grade GPA 5 under nine general education boards while 4872 under the Madrasha Education Board and 5,775 under the Technical and Vocational Education Board.

A total of 14,03,244 candidates took part in the HSC and equivalent exams from 9,183 educational institutions under 11 education boards in the country.
The HSC and equivalent exams were held on December 02-30 last year with shortened syllabus.

The HSC exams of 2020 could not be held due to the Covid-19 outbreak and the results were prepared based on the candidates’ performances in previous public examinations.
