vivo announces the visual creator short film contest in Bangladesh
The leading smartphone brand vivo recently announced the launch of its latest X series smartphone, the vivo X80 which is a culmination of design, technology and innovation.
Through this X series device, vivo presented “Chakrakar” a Short Film featuring Afsana Mimi, Yash Rohan and Nova Firoze which earned huge success.
The film was shot entirely on the vivo X80, showcasing X80’s Imaging Capabilities on display aiming to provide professional filmmakers and photographers the opportunity to test the image quality of the new X80.

Taking the success into account, vivo proudly announces its Visual Creator Short Film contest in the country, according to a media statement.
The competition aims to unearth hidden talents in the world of cinematography through this challenge. The competition will take place from 15th June until 24th October in Bangladesh.
Users are requested to upload their videos to social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) with the hashtag #vivoVisualCreator #shotonX80Series and mark @vivo official account in their posts. The contestants would also need to email the video to [email protected] with the name, social media account/email address, county/region and some personal remarks about the background of the video created.

A total of 12 awards will be awarded to the contestants, including 5 Global Awards and 7 Regional Awards, for which the winners will be announced on 11 th November.
The award-winning contestants will receive a certificate of the 2022 edition of the contest, one vivo X80 smartphone, professional comments from 5 judges, a vivo official promotion, $3000 for each regional award and $7000 for each global award as the prize reward from vivo for their excellent performance.

Vivo brings X80 to Bangladesh
Global smartphone manufacturing brand vivo brought its flagship device X80 5G to Bangladesh Friday.
The device can be pre-booked at Tk76,990. From June 5, X80 5G will be available at all authorised retail stores.
Available in Cosmic Black and Urban Blue, X80 5G offers cinematic style video modes in collaboration with Zeiss.

Vivo X80 Series: Leaks, Rumors, Probable Release Date
Just a few months ago, Vivo launched the Vivo X70 series smartphones officially. Now its successor which is nearly sure to be called the Vivo X80 series is set to launch. Rumors are leaking out about what we should expect from the X80 phones and what about their possible release date. Leaks and Rumors about Vivo X80
Design
It is really hard to talk about the design as we don’t have any images or ideas yet that disclose the features of the Vivo X80 series. However, in the meantime, it is confirmed by the leaks that the maintenance of the certification IP68.
It may have front corning gorilla glass, rear glass. The non-plus ultra model that is Vivo X80 Pro + should sport a screen from 6,78” Quad HD +, seemingly the same as the Vivo X70 Pro +. The type of panel would be changed so that we can enjoy the technology LTPO 2.0.

However, the rumor is that the company is planning to launch Vivo X80, X80 Pro, and X80 Pro+- these three models. All three smartphones would have an AMOLED display and the screen will have 120Hz refresh rate support.
Display
Maybe the X80 will have a 6.56-inch LTPO display. It will have a Full HD+ screen resolution. On the other hand, the X80 pro will have a 6.78-inch LTPO display with Full HD+ screen resolutions whereas the Pro+ models will have a 6.78-inch LTPO display but will have Quad HD+ screen resolutions.
According to the leaks Vivo X80 will feature an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have a punch-hole for the camera and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo X80 will get high refresh displays.

Hardware
The chipset that will be used in the Vivo X80 series may vary depending on the model involved. The strategy will be similar to that of the last generation. So, the smaller models will use MEdia Tek solutions whereas Qualcomm for the top ones.
It is said that Vivo X80 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 SoC while the X80 Pro will pack MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. On the other hand, the X80 Pro+ will come powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the same processor that’s powering most of the flagship smartphones.
In the case of the memory configuration, the X80 will have LPDDR4X RAM whereas the Pro models will have up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. All three models wish to come packed with UFS 3.1 internal storage.

Battery
We do not yet know what amperage the batteries of the VIVO X80 will have, but the leaks speak of fast charging of 80W for X80. Moreover, it is guessed that the presence of support for charging wireless to 50W while the Pro models will have support for 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Camera
In the Vivo X80 series, we will have the famous Gimbal Camera, which has now become an iconic element for the series. The main sensor will have VIS stabilization support 5-axis which is a step ahead of the current generation.
The Vivo X80 series will have a triple-camera setup. They are-a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor, a 13MP secondary sensor, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor with 2X optical zoom while the Vivo X80 Pro is expected to come with a quad-camera setup of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50 MP Samsung JN1 sensor, a 12MP Sony IMX663 lens. It also has 2x optical zoom and a 50MP sensor with 5x optical zoom support.

On the other hand, the Pro+ model will have a 50MP primary lens, a 49MP Sony IMX598 sensor, a 50MP sensor with 2x optical zoom, and another 50MP lens with 5x optical zoom. The X80 and X80 Pro are said to have a 44MP snapper on the front side for taking selfies and video calling while the X80 Pro+ will pack a 50MP sensor.
Performance and Connectivity
Although the specifications on the upcoming Vivo X80 series popped up just after the Vivo X70 was launched, there are fresh insights found on Weibo that tell us what can be expected. The higher-spec Vivo X80 Pro+ may get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm. The devices will get LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage options. It is amazing that Vivo will use the new MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset that’s built on the 4nm process and which is a direct competition with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips that will appear in a lighter of phones in 2022.

How much will the Vivo X80 cost?
As for the price, the leaks reveal the alleged prices in China for Vivo X80 Pro +: 5.499 yuan (€759) for 12/256 GB, 5.999 yuan (€829) for 12/512 GB, and 6.999 yuan (€967) for 12 while, on the whole, the upcoming Vivo X80 could be priced at CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 43,300), while Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 Pro+ could be priced at CNY 4,599 (roughly Rs. 53,800) and CNY 5,499 (roughly Rs. 64,400) respectively. Vivo does not announce any details of these smartphones yet.
When will the Vivo X80 be released?
A recent leak reveals a little more about the release: the smartphone triptych should debut in late January or early February 2022, also in an international version. Another leak tells us that the series will come instead to March 2022, which is not far off but more in line with the usual plans of the company. However, around six to nine months between generations we could see the X80 series arrive in the summer of 2022.
