Motorola Edge 30 Pro Review: What does it offer?
Motorola launched off 2022 earlier this month with the introduction of the Moto G Stylus. It is now ready to unveil another smartphone: a rebranded version of the Edge X30, which made its debut in China in December. Moto Edge 30 Pro is the phone's moniker, and it was unveiled on March 4. Let's chekout the features, spces, price of Moto Edge 30 Pro.
Key Features of Motorola Edge 30 Pro
Design
This Motorola is not a pocket-sized phone. Yes, it is also not the largest phone available, owing to its very thin display bezels. But you will find it to be quite a handful. In real life, its form is boxier, which does not assist with ergonomics. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is also rather slippery, despite its matte back; therefore, it's recommended that you use it with a case. At the very least, the phone seems very light and thin, particularly given its size.
On the rear, the classic Motorola logo is not textured, which is a wasted chance for a distinguishing design aspect. Nonetheless, it looks lovely and reflects a lot of light. The camera module for the three cameras is concealed inside the body. This prevents the phone from wobbling when placed on a flat surface. Although the module is encased with plastic glass, it does not feel cheap.

This glass does not cover the cameras. They, like the iPhone 13 series, have distinct real-glass housings. These are pleasant to the touch but also quite smudge-prone, so exercise caution when using the camera app.
Motorola's Edge 30 Pro has attractive metal edges that, because of their glossy sheen, may easily be mistaken for plastic. These are also not very grippy. All buttons are located on the right, and the power button also functions as a fingerprint scanner. The scanner is quick and easy to use, although many Motorola fans would have preferred an in-display scanner.
Display
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is distinguished by an attractive display. The 6.7-inch P-OLED display on this phone delivers very vibrant colors with a solid balance of minimum and maximum brightness. The only issue with this display is that it is not visible in direct sunlight. To be clear, the display is viewable. However, competitors such as the iPhone 13 and Samsung Galaxy S22 have brighter screens. This may be because its glass is more reflective than the others.

Indoors, you'll appreciate the 144Hz variable refresh rate. This improves game performance and makes navigation on the phone seem lightning-fast. Motorola's Edge 30 Pro has a first-generation P-OLED display. This implies that, unlike other rivals, it cannot operate between 1Hz and 144Hz.
Nonetheless, it adjusts its refresh rate based on the environment, and Motorola reports that the phone automatically varies between 60Hz to 120Hz and 144Hz. This conserves the battery life while increasing the phone's overall feel. There is no stuttering or toggling between refresh rates, which is a positive sign. The touch sampling rates are great, which contributes to the phone's responsiveness.
Rear Cameras
Motorola's Edge 30 Pro is equipped with a brand-new 50MP triple-camera setup. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor and optical image stabilization. Additionally, this sensor has QuadPixel technology, which combines four pixels into a single larger one, enhancing low-light photography and reducing memory use.

During the daytime, its primary camera gives excellent photos. Photos have the proper saturation and exposure while retaining excellent detail, even when moving objects are present.
Another 50MP sensor serves as the ultra-wide camera on this Motorola flagship phone. It has QuadPixel technology.
Motorola's latest phone also has a 2MP depth camera, and it doesn't seem to add much, if anything, to the final product. It seems to be mostly for aesthetic purposes.
Selfie Cameras
The Edge 30 Pro's secondary camera is a 60MP f/2.2 sensor. It, too, is equipped with Quad Pixel technology. The results are remarkable, particularly throughout the day. Selfies, taken with the lens, have a natural-looking soft bokeh effect, as well as excellent exposure and detail. Night selfies are also acceptable, although the colors seem a little under-saturated.

Performance and Software
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU in the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is absolutely incredible. According to early indications, this processor is prone to overheat. However, that is not the case with this current Motorola flagship. Even while you're gaming vigorously, this phone remains cool to the touch.
The performance is one of the most impressive ever. This phone effortlessly launches large applications and games. Consumers should choose the 12GB RAM/256GB UFS 3.1 storage configuration. Users will have no trouble multitasking, as my phone quickly maintains 10 or more open applications. Even if you select the 8GB RAM model, It will handle multitasking well since its software seems very well-tuned.
Motorola's Edge 30 Pro comes with Android 12. The company's current My UX user interface is very lightweight and attractive while retaining Motorola's signature intuitive smart features, such as the double chopping motion to switch on the flashlight.

Battery and Charger
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro has very long battery life. While the 4,800mAh battery is not the biggest available, paired with the P-OLED display and fast CPU, it comfortably lasts a day and a half. Light users may anticipate at least two days without recharging.
When the time comes to charge, Motorola provides a variety of options. In comparison to previous Edge phones, which supported just 30W fast charging and lacked wireless charging, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro supports 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Additionally, it has a 5W reverse charging capability, which is a very helpful feature.
Price of Motorola Edge 30 pro in Bangladesh
Edge 30 Pro is not yet available officially in Bangladesh. The gadget is priced at 49,999 INR for the 8/128 GB model in India. In Bangladeshi currency the price stands about 56,686 BDT (1 INR equals 1.13 BDT). However, the official price tag of this phone may vary significantly in Bangladesh due to a variety of variables such as availability, taxation, and corporate policy.

Conclusion
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is an excellent successor to the Motorola Edge 20 Pro and one of the /cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 smartphones available today. While the Edge 30 Pro is marketed as an improvement, and it does seem like one most of the time, it does have certain drawbacks. If you're looking for a phone to play games on, you're better off with the ROG Phone; if you want a phone with fantastic cameras, you're better off with the OnePlus 9RT or Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
