Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G: Is it a Downgrade or Upgrade
China's version of the Redmi Note 10 series debuted barely six months ago. However, the Note 11 series, the next-generation model, has already arrived. Redmi must have had a rationale for releasing two versions of the Note series in the same year. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G was launched on November 1st, 2021. The phone is distinguished by a number of distinctive characteristics. Let's checkout the features, specs and price of Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G.
Key Features of Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G
Design
The design of the Note 11 Pro Plus is close to that of the Note 10 Pro but not identical. Obviously, the overall goal was to maintain the lens design.
Thus, it remains a top-left matrix module with a silver ring around the topmost lens's perimeter. However, the Note 11 Pro Plus sports a bigger lens module and additional lenses, which implies that the camera specifications will be improved. The frame has been redesigned to be flat, similar to the iPhone 13, but not as luxurious as the iPhones since the frame remains composed of plastic.

The rear panel is constructed of AG frosted glass, similar to the Note 9 Pro, and the flat frame gives it a more premium appearance and feel than the Chinese Redmi Note 10 Pro. Additionally, the Note 11 Pro Plus's functionality has been enhanced.
It has not just NFC, an IR blaster, and stereo twin speakers but also an X-axis linear motor and a 3.5mm headphone connection. Moreover, the SIM card tray supports MicroSD cards. The Xiaomi's Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is more of a direct update over the previous Note 10 Pro on appearance and capability. And it has about every function imaginable on a cheap phone.

Display
The Note 11 Pro Plus has an AMOLED display. Samsung's 120Hz AMOLED display is one of the finest in its pricing range. Users can play an HDR film to observe a significant increase in the viewing experience while using AMOLED over an LCD display. The visual experience provided by the increased contrast is very remarkable. Additionally, AMOLED enables Redmi to reduce the size of the hole punch and eliminate shadows around it.
However, unlike the 10 Pro, which has the newest version of Corning Gorilla Victus Glass, the new model features standard Corning Gorilla Glass. There is also the issue of rainbow lines appearing in oblique views. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus's screen doesn’t seem very exceptional. However, it has an excellent screen for a budget phone.

Rear Cameras
The Pro+ has a triple camera arrangement with a 108 MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. To my surprise, this shot captured in 108MP Mode does not seem to have been taken with the original 108MP sensor. Not only are the images far blurrier than those taken by the Mi 11's 108 MP camera, but they're also not as crisp as those taken by the 64MP Note 10 Pro.
The macro lens is a very standard macro lens, nothing extraordinary. The phone's video recording capabilities remain unchanged; the primary camera supports up to 4k 30 frames per second, while the ultra-wide angle lens supports up to 1080p 30 frames per second. However, due to the Snapdragon 695 performance limitations, the primary camera's 1080p 60fps and 4k 30fps modes do not support EIS.

Front Camera
The front camera retains its 16MP resolution. The Note 11 pro plus is fond of brightening dark regions, which naturally results in a rise in noise. This is true for both night and day modes. Apart from that, the cameras on this Xiaomi Redmi phone perform at the level expected of a cheap phone.
Performance and Software
While the new model is an improvement in terms of appearance, the Note 11 Pro Plus is not an all-around enhancement. Besides this, several sections, such as the processor, have been downgraded. For the first time, the Note 11 Pro Plus is powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor. Which is not a significant degradation in comparison to the previous note versions.

PUBG may be enabled at an Extreme frame rate with Smooth Graphics, and as the frame rate graph demonstrates, PUBG can still operate smoothly despite its poor performance. Genshin Impact was a little more difficult. There was a ten-frame-per-second difference between the average frame rate of the Note 10 Pro and the Note 11 Pro Plus, and the Note 11 Pro Plus experienced greater latency.
Although the difference between Brightridge's average frame rates was just 6 frames per second, both phones' frame rates varied significantly, resulting in an unsatisfactory experience. The two phones performed better in terms of temperature regulation, with the peak temperature not exceeding 45 °C. In general, Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus can run several small and medium-sized games well, but those who like to play heavy games should go for the Note 10 Pro for a superior gaming experience.

Battery and Charger
The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus boasts a 120w charging power, making it one of the world's quickest charging smartphones. Additionally, a 120-watt charger is included in the package.
It takes five minutes to get a 44 percent charge and 10 minutes to reach a 76 percent charge. A complete charge takes around 16 minutes. If you believe the temperature is too high during charging, you may disable rapid charging mode, which will lower the temperature.

Price of Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus in Bangladesh
In Bangladesh, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is not yet officially available. The gadget is slated to retail for 24,999 INR in India for the 8/256 GB model. In Bangladeshi currency the price stands about 28,079 BDT (1 INR equals 1.13 BDT). However, the official price tag of Note 11 Pro Plus may vary in Bangladesh due to a variety of variables such as supply, taxation, and corporate policy.
Conclusion
While certain functions have not received significant updates, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G does offer several unique features that may appeal to buyers. This phone is a viable pick because of its fast CPU, more powerful cameras, improved networking, and other features. The Note 11 Pro+ is designed for those who want 5G connection, quicker charging, and improved performance. However, this comes at a little higher price.
