SSC Results 2022: 2,975 institutions achieve 100% pass rate, none passed from 50
A total of 2,975 educational institutions, under all education boards, secured 100 percent pass rate in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for 2022.
The number of institutions with 100% pass rate has declined this year compared to the previous year. Last year, the number was 5,494.
Meanwhile, the number of educational institutions with zero pass rate is 50 which was 18 last year.

Education Minister Dipu Moni shared detailed information on this year’s SSC results during a press conference at International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka this noon.
This year, 17,43,619 students – 8,70,046 boys and 8,73,573 girls – from 29,639 institutes under 11 education boards in the country successfully cleared the exams.
This year, more than 20 lakh students took part in SSC and equivalent examinations under 11 boards, including madrasa (Dakhil) and Technical Education.

SSC Results 2022: Girls slightly ahead of boys with 87.71% pass rate
Female students have secured slight better pass rate, at 87.71 percent, than their male counterparts at the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams for 2022, as in the previous year.
The SSC pass rate of male students is 87.16 percent.
Education Minister Dipu Moni shared detailed information on this year’s SSC results during a press conference at International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka on Monday noon.

This year, 17,43,619 students -- 8,70,046 boys and 8,73,573 girls -- from 29,639 institutes under 11 education boards in the country successfully passed the SSC and equivalents exams.
Girls also ahead in achieving GPA-5
A total of 2,69,602 students across the country have scored GPA-5. Among them, 1,21,156 are male students and 1,48,446 female.

Don’t be obsessed with a few famous schools: PM tells parents as SSC 2022 results published
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today (November 28, 2022) asked parents to change their mindset that their children must get admission to the few schools that are famous in order to get good education.
She said this while receiving the result summary of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for 2022 at the PMO in Dhaka.
“There are only a handful of famous schools. Many of us think that there would be no dignity, while some think that their children would get no education unless they can study in those schools. This mentality needs to be changed,” she said.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni handed over the summary of SSC results and related statistics to the prime minister.
Sheikh Hasina said many noted dignitaries, including highly knowledgeable persons, scientists, civil service officers and leaders in the country studied at district-level schools. Such schools should not be neglected, she added.
“It is easy for the famous schools to show off good results as they deal with the brightest students,” she said.

She said that credit should go to those (teachers and schools) who can groom and develop mediocre students and ensure they earn the best possible results. “They should be given support and should be rewarded,” she said.
The PM stressed the need for close monitoring so that students can get proper education in every school.

SSC Results 2022: Jashore Board’s pass rate 95.17%, highest in country
Jashore Education Board recorded 95.17 percent pass rate on average, while Cumilla Education Board saw 91.28 percent pass rate in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations for 2022.
Education Minister Dipu Moni shared the information on this year’s SSC results during a press conference at International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka this noon (November 28, 2022).
Sylhet Board recorded the lowest pass rate at 78.82%.

Pass rate in Dhaka Board is 90.03%, in Rajshahi Board 85.88%, in Chattogram Board 87.53%, in Barishal Board 89.61%, in Mymensingh Board 89.02%, and in Dinajpur Board 81.16%.

SSC Results 2022: 2.69 lakh students score GPA-5
A total of 2,69,602 students across the country have scored GPA-5 in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for 2022.
Among them, 1,21,156 are male students, and 1,48,446 are female.

The number of GPA-5 (the highest grade) achievers has increased by 86,262 compared to last year’s 1,83,340. SSC 2022 results were announced at 12 pm on today (November 28, 2022).

SSC results 2022: Average pass rate 87.44%
Results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations for 2022 were published earlier today. The average pass rate is 87.44 considering all education boards.
The pass rate of 2022 SSC examination under nine general boards is 88.10 percent while that of madrasa board is 82.22 percent, and technical board 89.55 percent.

How to see your SSC results
Results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published.
The summary and statistics of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations were handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Monday morning.
Education Minister Dipu Moni will share detailed information on this year’s SSC results during a press conference at International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka at 1pm.

Students can see their results from 12 pm on the Education Board website. Individual result sheets can also be downloaded by entering roll and registration number from the site.
Students will be able to see their results via SMS too. To get SSC result, candidates have to type SSCfirst three letters of the board's nameroll nopassing year and send it to 16222.
Educational institutions can download the result sheets from the education board website with the EIIN number of the institution.

This year, a total of 20,21,868 students took part in the SSC examinations under 11 educational boards.
This year's SSC and equivalent examinations under eleven boards, including madrasa (Dakhil) and Technical Education began across the country on September 15.
SSC and equivalent examinations under all education boards were scheduled to begin on June 19, but were postponed due to the flood situation in the country on June 17.

Earlier, SSC and equivalent examinations of 2022 were deferred for about four months because of the coronavirus pandemic. Usually, SSC exams take place in February.

EWU Robotics Club wins ITechExpo IUBAT 2022
East West University Robotics Club (EWURC) recently won the ITechExpo IUBAT 2022 competition at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) in the capital.
EWURC won the competition where 40 public and private universities of Bangladesh took part, the club said.
The project by EWURC displayed an innovative fume purification system that separates toxic substances from the exhaust and deposits them inside the device, which can be recycled and turned into useful products.
Md Salauddin Sakib, Md Asad Chowdhury Dipu and Md Mizanur Rahman were among the team members of EWURC.
The winning team will represent Bangladesh at an international event in Mumbai, India, according to EWURC.

Over 60% of undergraduate seats lie vacant at Islamic University
Over 1,300 seats for undergraduate courses at the Islamic University in Kushtia remained unfilled after two rounds of allotment in the 2021-22 academic session.
Not even 60 percent of the candidates who secured admission in the university's first round of seat allocations, against 1,990 seats, got admitted.
Through the unified admission test, 664 students gained admission from the first and second merit lists, IU Academic Section Office officials said on Friday.

Among the 1, 326 seats, 683 seats remain vacant in the science faculty; 395 in arts, social science and law faculties and 248 in the business administration faculty, IU academic section Director ATM Emdadul Alam told UNB.
The vacant seats would be fulfilled by enrolling students from the next rounds of allotment, he added.
