Best TWS Earbuds Under Tk 1500: A Detailed Buyer’s Guide
The True Wireless Stereo (TWS) market has recently been flooded with countless options. As brands realize that TWS is going to be the future of headphones, more and more companies are introducing their iteration. Let’s look at the best TWS options available in Bangladesh currently under the Tk 1500 price range.
Things to Consider While Buying a TWS Earbud
Sound Quality
The first thing to consider before buying any headphones is the sound quality. There was a time when TWS earbuds weren’t quite on par with traditional wired and Bluetooth neckbands. However, over the years, that gap has become almost non-existent.
But for a smooth audio experience, it is important to check the frequency range. The wider the range is, the better the bass, mids, and treble. Larger drivers can also be a consideration as larger drivers produce better sounds.
Also look for audio codecs like SBC, AAC, LDAC, and aptX for superior audio output.

Battery Life
The TWS battery life can be broken down into two segments – the battery on the earbuds and the battery on the charging case. Usually for budget earbuds under 1500, you can expect to get around 4 to 8 hours on the earbuds and 20 to 30 hours with the charging case.
You can also consider earbuds with fast-charging support for easy top-ups.
Ergonomics and Fit
Another thing to consider is the ergonomics and fit. Ensure an irritation-free snug fit for the best audio quality. It’ll also help you in case of prolonged use.
Bluetooth Version
Go for TWS earbuds with newer Bluetooth versions (5.0 and above). They offer better range, connectivity, stability, and battery efficiency. Some even support multi-point connections for simultaneously pairing with two devices.

Earbuds Control
Look for TWS earbuds with touch control. Some cheaper models may also come with physical buttons but that is also better than having no controls at all. Some new models are integrating voice assistants into the earbuds though that might be difficult to find in the sub-1500 category.
Noise Cancellation
ANC is the best way to go for proper noise canceling. But that’s something seen on earbuds priced at 5000 or more. So consider checking for the next best thing – the ENC. ENC allows for some form of isolation which will certainly make the audio experience better than having no NC at all.
Durability
Most TWS earbuds are pretty well built considering how small they are. But even then, consider checking the hinge joints and build materials. Another thing to consider is the IPX4 and IPX7 ratings for water and sweat resistance.
Call Quality
This one mostly depends on whether you’ll be using the earbuds for calling or not. If you do, consider checking the microphone quality to ensure proper call clarity.

Top Smart TV Picks for 2024: Ultimate Buyer’s Guide in Bangladesh
The World Cup fever is well underway as teams take on each other in nail-biting finishes. Back in the day, events like Cricket and Football World Cups, and the Olympics were an occasion to buy a first TV or a new TV for the family. Over the years, the trend hasn’t changed much as the demand for a new smart TV is at a seasonal high. To make the choice easy for you, we’ve compiled a list of things to consider and the possible price range of smart TVs in Bangladesh.
Things to Consider When Buying a Smart TV
There are several points you should consider before buying a smart TV. The important ones are:
The Size
Did you know that Samsung came up with this giant 292-inch TV called “The Wall” recently? While 292 inches is certainly an overkill, it's important to understand the optimum size that fits both your home and budget.
Typically, sizes range from 32 inches to 85 inches. Of course the higher you go, the more expensive it gets. If your budget supports it, any size between 43, 55, and 65 inches can be a great buy for a medium to large-sized room.
Design and Build Quality
The design and build quality is another aspect to consider when buying a smart TV. For example, check the bezel size as the thinner bezel looks more modern and sleeker. Also, consider checking whether the TV is a standing type or a wall mount type.

Display Type
The type of display on your smart TV will determine the overall vividness and sharpness of the panel. There are mainly three types of panels used in smart TVs. They are LED, OLED, and QLED.
LED panels are entry-level displays with good contrast and sharpness. On the other hand, OLED offers perfect blacks and excellent color accuracy. The top-of-the-line QLED is geared for use in bright environments as the panel is inherently very bright.
Resolution
Resolution is another aspect to consider as it can potentially make or break your viewing experience.
There are 4 options, HD (720P), FHD (1080P), 4K (2160P), and 8K resolution. 8K is still an emerging tech with sky-high pricing at this moment. The higher the resolution is, the higher will be the details and contrast. And needless to say, a higher resolution will incur a higher price.

Smart Features and OS
Look for what type of smart features are available on your TV. Most brands these days incorporate a dedicated app to control the TV in addition to the remote. There’s also an option for voice control.
In terms of OS, there’s a host of options from Android TV, Google TV, Tizen OS (Samsung) as well as Amazon Fire TV.
Features and Connectivity
Check for HDMI ports, USB ports, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Bluetooth to ensure smooth connectivity. Other features to look out for include HDR10 support, refresh rate, speakers, and audio format.

2024 DSLR Camera Buying Guide: Prices and Top Picks in Bangladesh
Nothing beats the quality and versatility of a DSLR camera when capturing the perfect moment during a vacation or while travelling. These cameras are renowned for their superior image quality, flexibility with interchangeable lenses, and robust manual controls.
Whether exploring bustling city streets or tranquil natural landscapes, they offer the perfect blend of advanced features and user-friendly interfaces, making them ideal for amateur and professional photographers. Here is a guide to choosing the right DSLR camera for you in Bangladesh and popular options in different price ranges.
Things to Consider While Choosing a DSLR Camera in Bangladesh
Budget
Your budget is the starting point for narrowing down your options. DSLRs come in a wide range of prices, from affordable entry-level models to high-end professional cameras. Entry-level models start at around 40,000 taka, while pro models exceed 1.5 lac. Set a realistic budget up front to narrow your search. However, additional lenses will increase the total cost of the camera.
Brand Reputation and Lens System
Major brands like Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Fujifilm have established themselves as reliable manufacturers of DSLR cameras. Each brand offers unique features and strengths, so consider the brand reputation and user reviews before choosing a DSLR camera. Research their lens ecosystems to ensure you can find the lenses you need for your photography style. Switching brands later might mean buying new lenses.

Sensor Size
The sensor size directly impacts image quality and performance in low-light conditions. APS-C and full-frame sensors are the most common types. Full-frame sensors generally offer superior image quality but come at a higher cost, while APS-C sensors are more affordable and still deliver excellent performance. The sensor size of the camera should be considered to get better images.
Megapixels
Megapixels determine the resolution of your photos. Higher megapixel counts allow for more detailed images and better cropping flexibility. However, once you reach a certain point, factors like sensor quality and lens sharpness become more significant than megapixels alone.
Lens Compatibility
Consider the range of lenses compatible with the camera. A wide selection of lenses allows you to adapt to different photography styles and conditions. Check whether the DSLR you are considering supports the lenses you want to use, including those from third-party manufacturers.
Autofocus
A robust autofocus (AF) system is essential for capturing sharp images, especially in action shots or low-light situations. Look for cameras with multiple AF points and fast, accurate focusing capabilities. Advanced models often feature sophisticated AF systems that track subjects with high precision.

Video Recording Capabilities
If you plan to shoot videos, evaluate the camera’s video recording features. Look for capabilities like 4K resolution, various frame rate options, and good autofocus during video recording. If video is a priority, research camera models with strong video capabilities to meet specific needs. Some DSLRs offer features specifically tailored for videographers, such as external microphone inputs and headphone jacks.
Battery Life
Choose a camera with a good battery life, especially if you plan on extended shooting sessions or travel photography. DSLRs generally offer better battery performance than mirrorless cameras.
Still, check the battery ratings before choosing a DSLR camera. Furthermore, you may consider carrying spare batteries to shoot extensively. A dead camera during a crucial moment can ruin your photography experience.
Weight and Portability
Travel-friendly DSLRs should be lightweight and easy to carry. While DSLRs are typically bulkier than mirrorless cameras, there are compact models available that do not compromise performance. Consider the camera’s weight and size, especially if you have to carry it for long periods.

Ergonomics & Handling
Try holding the camera in a store to see if it feels comfortable in your hand. A user-friendly interface with intuitive controls can significantly enhance your shooting experience. Look for cameras with customisable buttons, easy-to-navigate menus, and a responsive touchscreen if available.
The learning curve should be manageable, allowing you to focus more on creativity and less on technicalities. A comfortable camera encourages you to shoot more and experiment.
Warranty & Service
Don’t forget to check the warranty coverage and availability of authorised service centres for your chosen camera brand in Bangladesh. This ensures easier repairs and support if needed. Peace of mind with warranty and service is valuable, especially for an expensive purchase.

Benco V90 Plus Review: A Worthy New Contender in the Budget Smartphone Market
The Chinese High-tech enterprise INONE Technology introduced its latest brand Benco in 2019. Benco serves the entry-level smartphone segment. This company offers value-for-money devices under their ‘V’ Series phones. Recently the brand launched V90 Plus. Let’s look at the specs, pros, cons, and price of the Benco V90 Plus in Bangladesh.
Key Features of Benco V90 Plus
Design
The Benco V90 Plus measures 163 mm by 74.7 mm by 9 mm and weighs 197 grams. It is made of polycarbonate plastic with a textured back.
The phone looks nice and attractive. The bright textured back ensures that people won't complain about its appearance. The texture feels more noticeable to the touch than to the eyes. It provides a better grip and helps prevent scratches on the back.
The phone's back features a dual-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor, conveniently placed for easy access. The volume and power buttons are on the right side of the phone.

The SIM card slot is on the left side, while the speakers and charging port are at the bottom. There's also a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top. Overall, it offers more than just the basics.
A downside is its fingerprint sensor. It takes a couple of moments more than necessary to unlock the phone with a fingerprint.
There's a teardrop-shaped notch in the upper right corner for the front camera. The phone also has a slim chin and bezels, which won't bother you much when watching movies or playing games.
Display
The Benco V90 Plus has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with a 1612 by 720 pixels resolution. The size and resolution of its display are larger and better quality than most entry-level phones offer. It also has a 90 Hz refresh rate, providing a smooth touch response. The screen has an 89.56% screen-to-body ratio and a 20.2:9 aspect ratio.
Read more: itel S24 Review: A Budget-friendly Smartphone with 108 MP Camera
However, the display's low brightness is a downside. This causes two problems: the colors look off, and the screen becomes unreadable in direct sunlight.
Cameras
The Benco V90 Plus's rear camera setup includes dual 13MP (f/2.0) AI cameras. The photos taken with these cameras are average and not particularly impressive.
The cameras struggle with dynamic range, and the photos often have a warm tint. Sometimes, this warmth improves the look of the images, but other times, it makes them look worse. The contrast becomes more pronounced in low light, making it harder to take good night photos. The cameras can record videos at 1080p quality and 30 frames per second.
The front camera, housed in the teardrop notch, is an 8MP (f/2.2) shooter. This sensor increases the brightness of selfies, making them clear but reducing detail and sharpness. Portrait mode photos from the front camera are just average and don't stand out.

Performance and Hardware
The Benco V90 Plus is powered by an eight-core Unisoc T606 processor, which is usually found in basic-to-middle-tier smartphones. Despite this, Benco has included it in their budget-friendly phone lineup. The phone also features a Mali-G57 GPU running at 650MHz.
This combination offers good performance for everyday tasks and basic gaming. The new version, which has 8GB of RAM combined with 64 to 128 GB of storage, handles multitasking and app navigation fairly well. What’s more, the V90 Plus supports virtual 8GB RAM.
However, the phone isn't suitable for heavy gaming. Users will need to stick to simple games like Temple Run, Subway Surfers, and other 2D games. Benco V90 Plus comes with Android 13 as its operating system.
Battery and Charger
Another advantage of the Benco V90 Plus is its 5000mAh battery, which can last up to two days for an average user. Even with long hours of video watching and gaming, the battery can still last at least a full day.

Freezer Buying Guide and Price Ranges in Bangladesh in 2024
Freezers or “deep fridges” have become an essential part of every home. As the country adjusts to the record hot and humid weather, the need for freezers has become even more urgent for storing food items. For example, fish, meat, and other perishables need to be stored in freezers for long preservations. And sometimes, traditional fridges with small built-in freezers simply aren’t enough. So for those looking for a freezer, this is the ultimate guide. In this article, we talk about different types, what to consider, and the price range of freezers in Bangladesh in 2024.
Types of Freezers
There are different types of freezers depending on their setup and functionality. For example, some freezers are built into a regular fridge. There are also walk-in freezers used in commercial kitchens.
But depending on the physicality of standalone freezers, it can be divided into three main types:
Upright Freezers
These freezers resemble traditional fridges with their upright design and a front opening door. They are perfect when you need to regularly access the storage. The upright design allows for better compartment allocation making it easy to store and retrieve items.
However, upright freezers are less energy efficient compared to chest freezers. It also has less storage due to compartmentalization.
Drawer Freezers
Drawer freezers are built into the kitchen cabinet for seamless integration. This type of freezer isn’t all that common in Bangladesh as most kitchens do not utilize the cabinet system.
Besides, drawer freezers have less storage space compared to both upright and chest freezers. It is also more expensive to install them.
Chest Freezer
Almost all the freezers available in the Bangladesh market are chest freezers. This type of freezer opens from the top with a hinged lid. The obvious advantage of a chest freezer is the large storage capacity. These freezers are great for long-term storage as they are more power-efficient than the other two. However, on the downside, chest freezers require more floor space compared to upright or drawer freezers.

What to Consider While Buying a Freezer
What is your plan with the freezer?
One of the first things to consider before buying a freezer is how you plan to use the freezer. For example, do you plan to use it as supplemental storage for your regular fridge? Or do you plan to store items for a long time?
Depending on your need, you can choose an upright freezer for frequent access or a chest freezer for long-haul storage.
Where to place the freezer?
As homes and apartments get smaller and smaller in urban areas, it's important to consider whether you’ll be able to accommodate a freezer in a way that doesn’t stick out. You need to consider whether your kitchen space or the dining space is the most suitable for positioning the freezer.
Additionally, consider checking your doorways to make sure you can fit in the freezer in your desired area.
Capacity
Another thing to consider is the capacity. Many standard fridges already come with a built-in freezer. However, if you need additional space for cold storage, a 90 to 150-liter-sized freezer is considered mini-sized. For mid-size options, consider anything between 150 to 200 liters. Anything above 200 liters can be classified as large freezers.
What is your budget?
The budget is perhaps another important thing to consider when buying a freezer. As a rule of thumb, higher storage capacity would incur higher costs. The price also depends on cutting-edge features available in the freezer.
Freezers from local brands tend to be cheaper compared to international options.
Available Features
You may consider some additional features before choosing a freezer. These include:
- Energy efficiency - Fast freezing - Automatic defrost - Heat retention - Temperature alarm - Interior lighting - Locking - Style and design.

Oppo Enco M33 Review: How does it stack up against other budget-friendly neckbands?
The Oppo Enco M33 neckband marked a significant shift from the previous two iterations in terms of both specs and designs. While the M32 was considered a downgrade from the M31, the M33 is slated to be a contender with the hugely popular OnePlus Bullets Z2 ANC. So how does it stack up against other budget-friendly neckbands in the market? Let’s find out the specs, pros, cons, and price of the Oppo Enco M33 in Bangladesh.
Key Features of Oppo Enco M33
Design and Build Quality
This year, Oppo has moved away from the traditional pill-shaped earpiece design of the M31 and M32. The design is almost a replica of the OnePlus Bullets Z2 ANC regarding ergonomics and physical functions.
Now given that both Oppo and OnePlus come from the same parent company, a rebranding of Bullets Z2 ANC at least in terms of design on the M33 doesn’t seem unlikely.
The neckband is made from a soft silicone material which is supposed to be skin friendly according to Oppo. The wire is considerably thicker this time suggesting better durability all around. The earpiece also adopted the Bullets Z2 design with a better ergonomic fit compared to the previous generation.
There’s an inline play pause and volume controller button on the right earpiece wire.

Technical Specifications
The Enco M33 comes with a 12.4 mm dynamic driver which is an upgrade over last year’s 10 mm driver on the M32. The Bluetooth connectivity has been upgraded to 5.2 resulting in a smoother and fast switch between devices. The connection stability has also increased with the headphones steadily holding its 10 m range. The rest of the features are more or less carried on from the M32.
The M33 comes with AAC and SBC codecs. The lack of LDAC or AptX codec is a bit disappointing considering many budget-friendly Android-oriented headphones come with the latter.
The usual sound range of 20 Hz to 20 KHz is maintained on the Enco M33 covering the entire human hearing spectrum. Oppo also included an omnidirectional MEMS microphone for better call clarity and sound recording.
In terms of ANC, users will be getting noise cancellation up to 45 dB. Oppo claims that their ANC can cancel up to 99.4% of all effective noise.

Oppo kept the magnetic switch from last year’s M22. The sensors on the earpiece can conveniently detect a magnetic connection to on/off or play/pause music.
The M33 also comes with IP55 water and sweat resistance. It makes the neckband perfect for runs and gym usage.
Sound Quality
The sound quality of the M33 can be best described as bass-heavy. The audio profile felt similar to the Bullets Z2 with punchy bass and high notes.
But the punchy bass is in no way overpowering. In addition to the bass, other frequencies were also distinctly presented. The mids on the Enco 33 were distinguishable with a clear focus on the vocals. The trebles also held up great. However, the top trebles might sound a bit unnatural in high volumes.

The vocal clarity was great up to 80 to 90% volume. Anything more than that would bring slight noise and distortion. In short, the sound stage, stereo imaging, and separation were all on par for a budget-friendly neckband.
The ANC worked well combined with the punchy bass. The new ergonomic design ensures a better snug fit in the ear which enhances the overall ANC performance. The transparency mode did a great job of presenting the surrounding sound in a boosted manner.
The microphone also worked pretty well while calling. The sounds felt a bit muffled but it was able to clearly cut off surrounding noises.
Users can download the HeyMelody app from the Play Store and App Store to customize the Enco M33. You can turn on/off the ANC, enable transparency mode, set ‘find my earbud” or choose from 4 preset EQs on the app.

Battery and Charge Time
The battery on the Oppo Enco M33 can last up to 28 hours in one full charge. However, this number can be achieved with ANC disabled and volume at 50%. With ANC on, the neckband can last up to 20 hours. Oppo also claims that a 10-minute charge can provide up to 20 hours of music.
However, in day-to-day use, expect to get around 12 to 16 hours with ANC at around 80%. Volume.
Pros and Cons of Oppo Enco M33
Pros
- Strong bass- Updated design - Skin-friendly silicone material - IP54 water and sweat resistance - 12.4 mm driver - Multi-point connection - Long battery life - Dedicated app for control
Cons
- No dedicated gaming mode - The call quality could’ve been better - Lacks higher audio codecs.

Price of Oppo Enco M33 in Bangladesh
Oppo Enco M33 is available in the Bangladeshi market for around BDT 3500. However, the price may vary depending on the sellers.
Verdict
The features of the OPPO Enco M33 are almost like the Bullets Z2 ANC. It offers the same design, drivers, sound profile, and battery as the Bullets. However, the M33 is available at a slightly cheaper price than the OnePlus counterpart.
If you’re not into heavy bass, then the M33 might not be the neckband for you as its sole focus is on thumping resonance. For a more toned-down, vocal-centric experience, consider checking out the Honor Choice AM 61.
