Take 2: NASA aims for Saturday launch of new moon rocket
NASA will try again Saturday to launch its new moon rocket on a test flight, after engine trouble halted the first countdown this week.
Managers said Tuesday they are changing fueling procedures to deal with the issue. A bad sensor also could be to blame for Monday’s scrapped launch, they noted.
The 322-foot (98-meter) rocket — the most powerful ever built by NASA — remains on its pad at Kennedy Space Center with an empty crew capsule on top.
The Space Launch System rocket will attempt to send the capsule around the moon and back. No one will be aboard, just three test dummies. If successful, it will be the first capsule to fly to the moon since NASA’s Apollo program 50 years ago.
Read: NASA scrubs launch of new moon rocket after engine problem
Proceeding toward a Saturday launch will provide additional insight, even if the problem reappears and the countdown is halted again, said NASA’s rocket program manager, John Honeycutt. That’s better “than us sitting around scratching our heads, was it good enough or not.”
“Based on what I’ve heard from the technical team today, what we need to do is continue to pore over the data and polish up our plan on putting the flight rationale together,” he said.
During Monday’s launch attempt, readings showed that one of the four main engines in the rocket’s core stage could not be chilled sufficiently prior to the planned ignition at liftoff. It appeared to be as much as 40 degrees Fahrenheit (5 degrees Celsius) warmer than the desired minus-420 degrees Fahrenheit (minus-250 degrees Celsius), the temperature of the hydrogen fuel, according to Honeycutt. The three other engines came up just a little short.
All of the engines appear to be fine, according to Honeycutt.
The chilling operation will be conducted a half-hour earlier for Saturday afternoon’s launch attempt, once fueling begins that morning. Honeycutt said the timing of this engine chilldown was earlier during successful testing last year, and so performing it sooner may do the trick.
Read: Facebook parent settles suit in Cambridge Analytica scandal
Honeycutt also questioned the integrity of one engine sensor, saying it might have provided inaccurate data Monday. To change that sensor, he noted, would mean hauling the rocket back into the hangar, resulting in weeks of delay.
Already years behind schedule, the $4.1 billion test flight is the opening shot in NASA’s Artemis moon-exploration program, named after the twin sister of Apollo in Greek mythology. Astronauts could strap in as soon as 2024 for a lap around the moon and actually attempt a lunar landing in 2025.

Android 13: Features, Biggest New Additions
Android 13 was officially released by Google as the most recent version of the Android operating system on August 15, 2022. The introduction of the redesigned Pixel series was timed to coincide with the massive update to Material You. The Google Pixel 6, 6 Pro, Pixel 5a 5G, Pixel 4, 4a 5G, 4XL, 5, and 5XL will be among the devices that are certain to get support for Android 13. It offers a large number of new user-facing features and functionalities that you should get familiar with. This operating system update is intended to cover as many of the newly introduced features as possible. Stay with us to know more about Google's latest Android OS, Android 13.
What are the Significant Additions to Android 13
Wallet Access
Before the release of Android 13, Google Pay transformed into Google Wallet, which serves as a one-stop shop for all of your necessary items. The new version of Google Wallet will, at some point in the future, be able to enable digital forms of identification in addition to the payment cards and loyalty cards that are presently supported by Google Pay.
Google is collaborating with governments all around the globe to support driving licenses, and it seems like a few states in the United States will be the first to adopt this initiative before the end of this year.

In addition to a safe location to keep information on your vaccination history, you will get office badges, hotel room keys, and digital automobile keys. When you search for directions using Google Maps, you will be able to see how much money is left on your metro card since all of this will be connected with other Google applications as part of Android 13.
Multi-device Play
After laying the framework with Chromecast and Fast Pair, Google aims to make the transition between devices even smoother in Android 13. The casting process is being expanded to include not just televisions, computers, and mobile gadgets, but even certain automobiles. In the event that you are viewing a video on a tablet and a call comes in on your phone at the same time, your headphones will switch the audio for you automatically.
Soon, it will be possible to copy text, online URLs, and photographs on a phone, and then paste them on a tablet without first having to manually share them with the tablet. This capability will become available soon. All of this is made feasible by the upcoming smart home standard known as Matter, which will be integrated into Android 13 from the ground up.

More Security
Android 12 placed a significant emphasis on security, but there is still opportunity for further development in this area. One of the key priorities is RCS support for Google Messages, which is gaining end-to-end encryption for group conversations. At the moment, it can only be used to send messages between two people, but later on in this year, support for a larger audience is expected to become available.
Apps will now be required to ask permission for individual files or images prior to sharing, rather than gaining access to your entire photo library, and a new security screen will highlight areas that you might want to improve in order to keep your data safe from those who would do you harm. This is done in order to keep your data safe from those who would steal it.
More Stuff That Relates to You
If Android 12 was the point of departure for a whole new visual design, then Android 13 is going to simplify it even more than it already is. For more granular control over the appearance of your home screen, Google has made it possible for third-party app icons to now match the colors that you choose in addition to those that Google provides.
Read How to Use eSIM in Bangladesh?
There are now a number of free presets available for you to choose from if you do not want the colors of your theme to match the wallpaper that you have chosen. The material you skills have been added to the media control notification tray widget. It may now change color depending on the artwork of the album, and the progress bar can also move along to the rhythm of the tunes you are listening to.
Tablet-friendly
Although it was first tested as part of Android 12L, an experimental operating system specifically designed for large displays, it now seems like Android 13 will make the most of those adjustments.
The new taskbar will be located at the bottom of the screen, making it easier to access commonly used programs even while they are currently being shown on the screen. Do you want to see this in full screen? You have the option to conceal the taskbar and then swipe to reveal it again.
Read Home Audio Speaker Buying Guide, Price Ranges in Bangladesh
The notification tray has been overhauled with a new two-column structure that makes greater use of the additional space afforded by tablets. This new design can be found in the updated version of the app. Multitasking through dragging and dropping windows around is now supported, and you can also pin app pairings to the Recents pane for easy access.
More than 20 of Google's own applications, such as YouTube Music and Google Maps, are in the process of being updated to accommodate larger screens as part of an upcoming project by Google. The improvements should be available far before the official release of Android 13, and beta testers will have the opportunity to try them out before everyone else.
Opt-in Notifications
Android has traditionally been superior to iOS when it comes to the management and presentation of alerts. Nevertheless, there is one aspect of Apple's ecosystem that we like and value. Applications need to expressly seek you for permission before they're authorized to send alerts.
Read Cloud Computing Benefits: Perfect Cloud Service Provider Choosing Tips
When you install applications on Android 13, you will no longer be able to get installation alerts unless you specifically grant the permission to do so. Previously, Android allowed apps to send installation notifications. Be aware that this change will only affect applications that were installed after you upgraded to Android 12, thus it will not affect any functionality that was already in place.
Conclusion
The features of Android 13 include "user-facing" options and changes. You may expect to see or run across the new features when you update your phone. However, this most recent version of Google's operating system incorporates a variety of changes and upgrades that take place behind the scenes.
Though the options and features of Android 13 seem more sophisticated and reliable than Android 12, it does not have as many features as the ancestor version. Over the next few months, we anticipate a large number of original equipment manufacturers, or OEMs, including Samsung, Oppo, OnePlus, and many more, to give their own unique take on this construct.

Facebook parent settles suit in Cambridge Analytica scandal
Facebook’s corporate parent has reached a tentative settlement in a lawsuit alleging the world’s largest social network service allowed millions of its users’ personal information to be fed to Cambridge Analytica, a firm that supported Donald Trump’s victorious presidential campaign in 2016.
Terms of the settlement reached by Meta Platforms, the holding company for Facebook and Instagram, weren’t disclosed in court documents filed late Friday. The filing in San Francisco federal court requested a 60-day stay of the action while lawyers finalize the settlement. That timeline suggested further details could be disclosed by late October.
The accord was reached just a few weeks before a Sept. 20 deadline for Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his long-time chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg, to submit to depositions during the final phases of pre-trial evidence gathering, according to court documents.
Zuckerberg, who founded Facebook in 2004 as a Harvard University student, could have been deposed for up to six hours. Sandberg, who is stepping down as chief operating officer after a 14-year stint, could have been questioned for up to five hours.
Read: How to Prevent Facebook Hacking: Security measures from Mobile, Desktop
The case sprang from 2018 revelations that Cambridge Analytica, a firm with ties to Trump political strategist Stephen Bannon, had paid a Facebook app developer for access to the personal information of about 87 million Facebook users. That data was then used to target U.S. voters during the 2016 campaign that culminated in Trump’s election as the 45th president.
The ensuring uproar led to a contrite Zuckerberg being grilled by lawmakers during a high-profile congressional hearing and spurred calls for people to delete their Facebook accounts. Even though Facebook’s growth has stalled as more people connect and entertain themselves on rival services such as TikTok, the social network still boasts about 2 billion users worldwide, including nearly 200 million in the U.S. and Canada.
The lawsuit, which had been seeking to be certified as a class action representing Facebook users, had asserted the privacy breach proved Facebook is a “data broker and surveillance firm,” as well as a social network.

How to Prevent Facebook Hacking: Security measures from Mobile, Desktop
Since Facebook now has billions of users, it has a sufficient amount of data that hackers may exploit for their own financial benefit or to blackmail other users. The hacker is also capable of posting humiliating or discriminatory comments, which can infuriate the celebrity's legions of devoted followers. Even if you aren't a famous person, there is a chance that your account might be hacked. It goes without saying that you should take precautions to prevent unwanted hackers from accessing your Facebook account. Let's check out how FB accounts get hacked and ways to stop FB hackers.
3 Common Ways How Facebook Accounts Get Hacked
Phishing
Phishing is responsible for hacking the majority of Facebook accounts. When this phase of the attack begins, the hacker will "fish" for your information by constructing a gateway that is visually comparable to the homepage of Facebook. After that, they will send you a message through email requesting that you log in. If you input your email address and password, the hacker will immediately begin recording this information for future use, and your account will immediately become hacked.
Keylogging
Even someone who is very knowledgeable about technology may not be aware that they have a keylogging malware on their electronic device. The information that you input into your computer, tablet, or mobile phone may be recorded by a software known as a keylogger.
Read: Apple iPhone 14 Pro: Know the Latest Leaks, Rumours
This information, which may include passwords, banking details, and other private data, is then sent to the hacker through TP or email. The hacker is able to access the information. An assault that involves keylogging might very quickly lead to identity theft.
Collected Passwords
Because of the function known as "stored password," your smartphone will remember your passwords so that you do not have to. Although doing so would make your life simpler in the near term, doing so is not something that should be done for safety concerns.
However, eighty percent of Facebook users continue to do it. You need to think about this in the long run because if someone breaks into your password manager, they will easily be able to access your account using the stored information. Therefore, you need to take this into consideration.

6 Ways to Avoid Facebook Account Hackers
Follow Facebook Recommended Security Measures
When you have time checkout the security measures recommended by facebook. It will help you to stay conscious about probable hacking attempts or malware attacks to your FB account. The help section can guide you to know about the latest security features of Facebook.
Facebook Protect will analyze the current level of security on your account and provide advice on how to further strengthen your account's defenses. The application is not currently available to all users, but everyone may benefit from the additional safety precautions that are recommended by the software.
Never Save Passwords on Others' Devices
When you do not have any data on your smartphone, cybercafés are wonderful options to consider. Because the vast majority of users just choose "yes" when prompted to preserve their password, they are also used as password reserves.
Read How to Use eSIM in Bangladesh?
They do this due to the hectic pace that they experience when browsing. It's possible that the same thing will happen to you. Never keep your passwords on a device that you do not have complete control over if you do not have a device that can access the internet.
Always Log Out After Your Active Sessions
It is not the only approach to avoid hacking on public devices for you to make sure that your password is not saved. Leaving your account signed in makes it easier for hackers to take control of your account, and it also makes it more likely that they will.
Even if you end a session on Facebook by closing the browser, Facebook will still consider the session to have been ongoing for some time. If someone logs in immediately after you, then that person needs to be granted access to your account.
Read Home Audio Speaker Buying Guide, Price Ranges in Bangladesh
Activate a Two-Way Verification
Every time you or a hacker attempts to log in to your account, this function will send an authentication message to your phone. You may use this with verification software provided by Facebook or with software provided by a third party.
After successfully login in, you will be given a one-time-use access code to Facebook that will only work for the current session. When the session comes to an end, you will be required to wait until you get a new authentication notification before you may access your account again.
Many facebook users may think that it is quite annoying to have to go through all of that instead of just logging in with one click. Nevertheless, it is preferable to err on the side of caution rather than regret.

Clear Browser Cache Regularly
It is highly recommended that you clear off your browser every once in a while. The vast majority of phishing and virus-related activity may be discovered on pornographic and torrenting websites. Clear your data regularly to prevent unauthorized access to your login information, especially if you are a frequent visitor.
Beware of Malware and Spyware
The vulnerabilities to hacking are not limited to the internet. Someone might take control of your browser by installing malicious software on your computer, which you could have done without realizing it.
There is a possibility that some of these programs may bombard your screen or browser with unwanted pop-up advertisements. You may prevent this from happening by using software that removes malware, adware, and spyware.

How to Recover a Hacked Facebook Account
If the security of the account has been breached, the password must be changed immediately. To do this, go to Facebook's website and pick the "Forgot password?" option from the drop-down menu. In this field, enter the cell phone number or email address that was supplied when the account was first established. If you go to the menu and choose "Reset Your Password," the password will be changed as soon as you do so. You are now able to use your new password to log in to Facebook.
What happens, though, if the hacker or hackers change the email address and cellphone number that were supplied when the account was formed by hacking the Facebook ID? Notifying Facebook that the user ID has been compromised is the first step to do in this scenario. To accomplish this, go to www.facebook.com/hacked and pick the option labeled "my account is compromised" from the drop-down menu.
After that, enter the username, email address, or cellphone number associated with the account in order to confirm its authenticity. If you type the captcha into the "security check" option on Facebook, the social networking site will ask you a series of security questions, one of which will be to provide the previous password for the account. If you provide Facebook with accurate answers to the questions and then click the "submit" button, the complaint will be sent to Facebook.

Hackers often get access to Facebook IDs and then use them to send offensive messages, photos, or videos to the friends of the hacked user. Some hackers may also attempt to deceive individuals by asking for money, contributions, or other forms of monetary assistance. It's possible that other people may distribute undesirable post spam. Before you do anything else, you need to make sure that everyone is aware that someone has hacked into your account.
Conclusion
Nowadays, social media, especially facebook, has become a part of our life. People love to share their feelings, experiences through their respective personal FB accounts. In the meantime, many hackers are looking for scopes to take control of other people’s FB accounts for malicious purposes.
So far, we have discussed some common ways how facebook accounts get hacked. We have also focused on how to prevent facebook account hacking. Now, you can easily safeguard your Facebook account from cybercriminals, con artists, and anybody else who may try to gain unauthorized access by configuring your security settings appropriately. Happy facebooking!

Apple warns of security flaw for iPhones, iPads and Macs
Apple disclosed serious security vulnerabilities for iPhones, iPads and Macs that could potentially allow attackers to take complete control of these devices.
Apple released two securityreports about the issue on Wednesday, although they didn’t receive wide attention outside of tech publications.
Apple’s explanation of the vulnerability means a hacker could get “full admin access" to the device. That would allow intruders to impersonate the device's owner and subsequently run any software in their name, said Rachel Tobac, CEO of SocialProof Security.
Security experts have advised users to update affected devices — the iPhone6S and later models; several models of the iPad, including the 5th generation and later, all iPad Pro models and the iPad Air 2; and Mac computers running MacOS Monterey. The flaw also affects some iPod models.
Read: Apple iPhone 14 Pro: Know the Latest Leaks, Rumours
Apple did not say in the reports how, where or by whom the vulnerabilities were discovered. In all cases, it cited an anonymous researcher.
Commercial spyware companies such as Israel’s NSO Group are known for identifying and taking advantage of such flaws, exploiting them in malware that surreptitiously infects targets’ smartphones, siphons their contents and surveils the targets in real time.
NSO Group has been blacklisted by the U.S. Commerce Department. Its spyware is known to have been used in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America against journalists, dissidents and human rights activists.
Security researcher Will Strafach said he had seen no technical analysis of the vulnerabilities that Apple has just patched. The company has previously acknowledged similarly serious flaws and, in what Strafach estimated to be perhaps a dozen occasions, has noted that it was aware of reports that such security holes had being exploited.

Musk says Twitter deal could move ahead with 'bot' info
Elon Musk said Saturday his planned $44 billion takeover of Twitter should move forward if the company can confirm some details about how it measures whether user accounts are ‘spam bots’ or real people.
The billionaire and Tesla CEO has been trying to back out of his April agreement to buy the social media company, leading Twitter to sue him last month to complete the acquisition. Musk countersued, accusing Twitter of misleading his team about the true size of its user base and other problems he said amounted to fraud and breach of contract.
Both sides are headed toward an October trial in a Delaware court.
“If Twitter simply provides their method of sampling 100 accounts and how they’re confirmed to be real, the deal should proceed on original terms,” Musk tweeted early Saturday. “However, if it turns out that their SEC filings are materially false, then it should not.”
Read:Is Twitter down? Service appears to return after outage
Musk, who has more than 100 million Twitter followers, went on to challenge Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal to a "public debate about the Twitter bot percentage.”
Twitter declined comment Saturday. The company has repeatedly disclosed to the Securities and Exchange Commission an estimate that fewer than 5% of user accounts are fake or spam, with a disclaimer that it could be higher. Musk waived his right to further due diligence when he signed the April merger agreement.
Twitter has argued in court that Musk is deliberately trying to tank the deal and using the bot question as an excuse because market conditions have deteriorated and the acquisition no longer serves his interests. In a court filing Thursday, it describes his counterclaims as an imagined story “contradicted by the evidence and common sense.”
“Musk invents representations Twitter never made and then tries to wield, selectively, the extensive confidential data Twitter provided him to conjure a breach of those purported representations,” company attorneys wrote.
While Musk has tried to keep the focus on bot disclosures, Twitter’s legal team has been digging for information about a host of tech investors and entrepreneurs connected to Musk in a wide-ranging subpoena that could net some of their private communications with the Tesla CEO.
