The Public Safety Division of the Home Ministry issued a notification in this regard.
According to the notification, Abdullahel Baki, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Bangladesh Police Academy, Sarda, Rajshahi, has been made the DIG of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Bangladesh Police while Khandaker Golam Faruque, DIG of Chattogram Range, made the DIG of Police Academy, Sarda, Rajshahi.
Besides, Jamil Ahmed, additional director general of Rapid Action Battalion, has been made the DIG of CID and Mahabubur Rahman, Police Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police, made DIG of Industrial Police unit.
Meanwhile, Anwar Hossain, police commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police has been transferred as DIG of Chattogram range and Imtiaz Ahmed, DIG of CID, made Additional Director general of Rab.
Saleh Ahmed Tanvir, additional police commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, has been made the police commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police.
