Khulna City Corporation Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque said this on Wednesday while attending a meeting on the progress of Essential Healthcare for the Disadvantaged (EHD) project financed by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
Concern Worldwide is supervising the project while Khulna Mukti Seba Sangstha is implementing it.

The EHD project has been initiated under the overall direction of the health and family welfare ministry to ensure basic health service to around 2.5 billion disadvantaged people of Barishal and Khulna.
Khulna Mukti Seba Sangstha is carrying it out in seven upazilas of the division – Morrelganj, Dakop, Koyra, Shyamnagar, Mongla, Bagerhat and Satkhira.
