Bangladesh is an inspiring example of achieving unity in diversity, said the apex trade body of the country's garments manufacturers Saturday.
"Bangladesh is home to diverse faiths, with people of different religions and beliefs living alongside each other in peace. The spirit of communal harmony has existed here for hundreds of years," Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association President Faruque Hassan said following a visit to St Mathuranath AG Church in Gopalganj.

The BGMEA chief handed over a cheque of Tk3 lakh to the church as a donation.
BGMEA Senior Vice-President SM Mannan (Kochi); vice-presidents Shahidullah Azim, Khandoker Rafiqul Islam, Md Nasir Uddin and Giant Group Director Sharmeen Hassan Tithi were also present.
