Bangladesh has reiterated its call for withdrawing sanctions on RAB, Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen told reporters today after his meeting with US Under Secretary Uzra Zeya at the State Guest House Padma.
Responding to a question, Zeya said they discussed the need for free and fair elections in Bangladesh and the vital role of civil society.

She said she heard strong commitments from the Prime Minister and others in support of free and fair elections.
The US Under Secretary laid emphasis on having strong democratic institutions and broad participation of Bangladesh citizens in democratic process.
