Dhaka, Sept 2 (UNB) – The broadcasting of Bangladesh Television (BTV) programmes started in India on Monday through state-of-the-art television Doordarshan’s DTH platform-DD Free Dish.
This was discussed at the Cabinet meeting held at the Bangladesh Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair, said Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam while briefing reporters after the meeting.
“The formal transmission of BTV (programmes) started today (Monday) in India through its national television ‘Doordarshan’ in line with the agreement signed between Bangladesh and India during Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Bangladesh on June 6-7, 2015,” he said.
