The body of a youth who had been missing for five days was recovered from the zero point of Patgram bordering area in Lalmonirhat on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Torikul Islam, 28, son of Ajijul Islam of Burimari in the upazila.
Torikul went missing five days ago when he went to a local bazar and did not return home, said his family members.
Later on Sunday, members of police and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered Torikul’s bullet-hit body from zero point with the help of Border Security Force (BSF) of India, said Officer-in-Charge of Patgram Police Station Mozammel Haque.
Legal action will be taken after investigating into the matter, he said.
