Bidyanondo Foundation’s Chairman Kishor Kumar Das said, “I saw a photograph of a poor man where he died on the street after failing get a hospital bed during this pandemic. It struck my mind. I felt they who have the ability should come forward to help the poor people facing challenges for treatment. So, we from the Bidyanondo, wanted to create an example of hope and inspiration.”
He further said, “Many people are dying but many would have survived with quick and adequate response. Can’t we ensure a respectful death for people? Can’t they have some care and sympathy before they die? That’s why we decided to build this hospital and now this has become a reality.”
