Director General of Directorate general of Health Services (DGHS), ABM Khurshid Alam along with some officials tested Covid-19 positive.
ABM Khurshid Alam tested positive on March 17.
Currently DG Khurshid Alam is in isolation at his home and taking treatments.

Other contracted officials are, Mizanur Rahman, Director (MIS and Line), DG Khurshid Alam’s PS and PRO.
MD. Robed Amin, Director of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDC) and spokesperson of health services confirmed the information.
At first Director General’s PS and his family members contracted Covid-19 later on DG Khurshid Alam and director Mizanur Rahman got infected too.
