A major fire broke out at a highrise commercial building in the Bangla Motor area of Dhaka on Saturday, officials said.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.

Duty officer of the Dhaka Fire Service and Civil Defense control room, Rozina Akter, said the fire broke out at the fifth floor of the 10-storey RK Tower around 12.15pm and spread soon.
On information, four fire tenders were rushed to the spot. "We are trying our best to contain the fire," she said. "Only a probe can ascertain the exact cause of the fire."
