DU Geology Department Professor Dr. Muhammad Qumrul Hassan, Director of DU Public Relations Office Mahmood Alam and Dr. Anwar Zahid were present on this occasion.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest. They underscored the need of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs on various fields between Dhaka University and DAAD. The possibilities of increasing the number of German scholarships for DU students and arranging short visit of DU teachers specially young ones in German universities were also discussed.
DU VC Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman laid emphasize on further strengthening academic cooperation between DU and DAAD to explore new avenues of collaboration.
