The bench of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice KM Hafizul Alam also directed the investigation officer of the case to complete the investigation within four weeks after rejecting a rule on their bail.
Earlier, on March 3, the High Court asked the authorities concerned to submit a report within March 5 explaining how and on what basis the four bodyguards secured license for keeping arms.
The court also sought information about their income tax returns.
It also issued a rule asking the government to explain as to why four bodyguards of GK Shamim should not be granted bail in the case.
The four body guards Mohammad Zahidul Islam, Mohammad Shahidul Islam, Kamal Hossain and Shamshad Hossain, filed bail petition with the High Court when a subordinate court rejected their bail plea on December 24.
On Monday, their lawyer submitted affidavit copies of their income tax returns
