Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) inaugurated its 374th branch in Netrokona's Mohongonj, and six new sub-branches in Dhaka's Jigatala and Green Road, Narayanganj's Kanchpur Bus Stand, Kishoreganj's Gaital, Pirojpur's Swarupkathi and Madaripur's Mostafapur Bus Stand Sunday.
IBBL Managing Director and CEO Mohammed Monirul Moula inaugurated the branch and sub-branches on a virtual platform.
Muhammad Qaisar Ali and Md Omar Faruk Khan, additional managing directors of the bank, addressed the program as the special guests.

IBBL Deputy Managing Director Md Mosharraf Hossain presided over the programme while Md Mahboob Alam, senior executive vice-president of the bank, delivered the welcome speech.
Monirul Moula said, " IBBL is now serving clients through 374 branches, 187 sub-branches and 2,329 agent banking outlets."
"In this time of the pandemic, IBBL is successfully conducting investment activities under stimulus packages and priority sectors announced by the government following the guidelines of the Bangladesh Bank and regulatory authorities."

"Mohongonj area is making an important contribution to the agricultural sector of the country, directly and indirectly. Islami Bank will conduct banking activities, focusing on business expansion and entrepreneur development in the area through this new branch," Monirul said.
