Legendary actress Sarah Begum Kabori (Kabori Sarwar) was laid to eternal rest at the Banani graveyard in the capital on Saturday.
Her namaz-e-janaza took place after Zohr prayers.

Dhaka district administration honoured the eminent actress with a state guard of honour at the same place due to her status as a freedom fighter.
Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association president Misha Shawdagar, general secretary Zayed Khan, Bangladesh Film Directors Association president Sohanur Rahman Sohan and others, among others, attended the janaza.

However, due to the ongoing pandemic situation, she was not taken to the Shaheed Minar or FDC for her fans and co-artistses to pay last respect to the eminent face of Dhallywood's golden era.
One of the most beloved and well-respected face in the film industry of Bangladesh, Sarah Begum Kabori lost her battle with Covid-19 on Saturday at Sheikh Russell Gastroliver Hospital in the capital.
