The judge is now undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Combined Military Hospital, Dhaka, said Lieutenant Colonel Sazzad, son-in-law of the Justice.
Justice Ferdous Ahmed, 58, went to Lalmonirhat on June 1 and returned to Dhaka on June 4 after completing his judicial activities. Later, he tested positive for coronavirus and got admitted to CMH.
He was shifted to the ICU of the hospital following respiratory problems.
The physical condition of the Justice is stable, he said.
Bangladesh on Monday reported 3099 new coronavirus cases in the span of 24 hours, raising the number of total confirmed cases to 90,619.
The deadly virus claimed 38 more lives during the same period, taking the death toll in the country to 1209 as of Monday.
