The government on Thursday cancelled its previous transfer order for Shabab Bin Ahmed, currently serving as Minister (local) at the Bangladesh Embassy in The Hague, Netherlands, and asked him to return to headquarters instead of joining as deputy high commissioner in its Kolkata Mission.
He was supposed to assume the role of deputy high commissioner at Bangladesh’s Deputy High Commission in Kolkata by June.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued the latest transfer order canceling previous order issued on November 21 last year, a senior official told UNB.
