Obaidul Quader said this while addressing a conference of Akkelpur Upazila Awami League in Joypurhat district as the chief guest. He joined the conference via video conference from his official residence.
Noting that there is no question of giving concessions if anyone is involved in irregularities, corruption and anti-discipline activities, the Awami League general secretary said the anti-corruption commission and law enforcement agencies have been instructed in this regard.

Calling on the committee to evaluate those who sacrificed for the party, Obaidul Quader said they are the lifeblood of the Awami League, and they should be kept in the committee.
He urged the district and upazila leaders not to pull the spring cuckoos into the party to make their pockets heavier.
Mentioning the party President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's strict position regarding the party discipline, Obaidul Quader said that the party will not give concessions no matter how big the leader or the people's representative is.

The general secretary of Awami League asked the leaders not arrange any programme which goes against the people’s sentiment as the people are our strength and the main goal is to serve them.
Obaidul Quader commented that the BNP is ready to blame others for its own failures, so they have failed in the movement and have put the people and the police as opponents.
Noting that the people are voting because the Sheikh Hasina government is working tirelessly for the people, Obaidul Quader said development is visible everywhere of the country.

Obaidul Quader hoped that tomorrow's politics will revolve around development and prosperity. On the other hand, the people do not have confidence in the BNP's anti-politics, so it is important for the BNP to leave propaganda and anti-politics and return to positive politics.
Addressing the party leaders and workers, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said there was no alternative to unity, forgetting conflicts and making the party well-organized and strong.
Akkelpur Upazila Awami President Md. Moksed Ali Mandal presided over the conference while Awami League Organizing Secretary Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan, SM Kamal Hossain, Health Secretary Dr. Rokeya Sultana and other local MPs and district and upazila leaders also spok the conference.
