A fire that quickly tore through an electronics warehouse in the capital's Paltan on Wednesday was brought under control after nearly two hours, authorities said.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported till the filling of this report.

Earlier, the blaze began at the tin-shed warehouse of Hamim Electronics, housed in a two-storey building, near Hotel 71 in Bijoynagar around 6:30pm, Md Shahjahan Shikdar, deputy assistant director (media cell) of Fire Service and Civil Defence, said.
Thirteen firefighting units from Siddik Bazar Fire Service and Civil Defence responded to the blaze and the responders could tame the flames at 8:27pm.
The reasons for the fire mishap and the extent of damage could not be confirmed immediately, Shahjahan said.
