Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and United Arab Emirates (UAE) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday discussed ways to further strengthen Bangladesh-UAE relations, with a focus on bilateral cooperation, trade, investment, economic partnership and manpower.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest at the meeting held at the UAE Mission in New York.
They discussed ways to make the existing friendly relations between Bangladesh and the UAE broader and more effective.
Both sides expressed interest in further expanding future cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
