In Barishal, four people including a senior physician, died at the Corona Unit of Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital on Friday.
Residential Medical Officer (RMO) Dr Delowar Hossain of Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital said they all were suffering from cold and fever, and had respiratory distress.
Their samples were collected for Covid-19 tests, he said.
In Jashore, another man Ziaur Rahman, 37, died with Coronavirus symptoms at Jashore General Hospital.
Ziaur was admitted to the hospital at 3:20 am and referred to the Isolation ward where he died later in the afternoon at 3:35pm on Friday, said RMO of Jashore General Hospital.
His samples were collected for Covid-19 test.
In Chandpur, Shafikul Islam, 65, a resident of Rahamatpur in the district town, was also suffering from cold and fever, and died in a private hospital.
Municipality Councilor Md Shahjahan said Shafikul died at around 2 pm and local administration has collected his samples for coronavirus test.
In Panchagarh, a local trader- Abdus Samad, 55, developed the said symptoms and had been taking treatment at home in the village of Afajalnagar in Sadar upazila.
Sadar Union Chairman Jahedul Islam said Samad was admitted to the Sadar Hospital on Friday morning, where he died later.
