The people of megacity Dhaka seem to have overcome the inhibition or fear of coronavirus pandemic, judging from their callous attitude to social distancing.
Thousands of people thronged the city’s new market area on Saturday morning while roads seemed as usual with an abundance of vehicles.

A woman hagglingh with a hawker on the pedestrian overbridge in the area.
While people crowded the pedestrian overbridge, down below the streets were jammed with vehicles of all number of wheels.
The jam stretched till the Science Laboratory area, and probably beyond.
