Two pedestrians were killed and three injured as a bus knocked them down in Cox's Bazar's Chakaria upazila Tuesday morning.
Their identities could not be known immediately.

The Cox's Bazar-bound bus of Bismillah Paribahan ran hit them when they were crossing the road in Chakori Habarang area around 8am, said Mohammad Jabed, officer-in-charge of Chakaria police station.
"Two pedestrians died on the spot,"he added.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
On information, police rushed to the spot and seized the bus.
The driver might have lost control over his steering and hit the pedestrians, added the OC.
