Mana Bay Water Park recently started its journey as the country’s first premium water park, that is unlike anything seen before. Overview of Mana Bay Water Park 

Nestled in the green enclave of Gazaria, Munshiganj, Mana Bay Water Park is the country’s first and third largest premium water park in South Asia. The project has been completely funded by British investment through ACS Textiles Limited. 

Mana Bay Water Park promises an unforgettable experience to its visitors while maintaining the highest level of international standard. To that end, ACS Textiles has partnered with WhiteWater for ride supply, setup, and maintenance. The entire project layout has been designed by the famous Spanish recreational design house, Amusement Logic. The park is directly supervised by Ovais Akbani and Sasheen Hasan with an overwatch from ACS Textiles Chairman Masood Dawood Akbani.

Rides and Attractions of Mana Bay Water Park 

What sets Mana Bay apart is its layout and design. At first glance, anyone would confuse the water park with the ones in Europe or Thailand. Amusement Logic has designed the park with Oceanic and Polynesian island themes in mind. From the huts around the waterways to the central volcano, everything looks to be a true representation of Bora Bora, Samoa, or Tuvalu. 

The central volcano of the park is 25 meters long with a 45-meter base. The large mountain is the most distinct structure in the entire park. A total of 17 rides and 4 attractions have been placed at various corners of the 60,000 sq meter park. 

The 4 attractions are divided into Enchanted Waters, Whirlpool Wonder, Hydro Groove, and Blissful Bay. The Enchanted Waters has been intertwined with one of the longest lazy rivers in all of Asia. Among the rides, AquaRush is a must-try. The entire ride has been segmented into Lava Dash, Aquadrenaline, Vertigo Vortex, and the Loop of Faith. Tidal Twist also promises a similar level of exhilarating experience with Tempest Twister, Riptide Revolution, Turbo Tube, and Cyclone Fury.

For more relaxed and laid-back rides, consider checking out the Ohana Falls and Flow Rider which simulate an authentic surfing experience. 

There’s also a separate kids zone with child-friendly attractions like Funstream, Shellshack, and Splashtopia. 

Restaurants and Relaxation 

Beyond the fun, games, and splashes of the water park, Mana Bay also has a great selection of dining options. There are a total of 7 restaurants and 4 food trucks in the park. Additionally, there are 18 Cabanas to relax and unwind after the fun-filled water excursions.

Each restaurant is themed as per their specialties. Visitors can experience culinary extravagance at Bite of Paradise, Oceans Bounty, and Fiesta del Mar. The latter two specialize in seafood and gourmet dishes. There’s also a café called Sunkissed for afternoon snacks. Beyond seafood, there’s Island Breeze for a fusion of tropical flavors. To wash it all down, an array of decadent desserts, pastries, and ice cream awaits in Ono and a range of exotic mocktails at Tiki Bar.  

How to get to Mana Bay Water Park? 

The commute to Mana Bay falls on the Dhaka Chattogram highway. The water park is located in the Baushia union of Gazaria, Munshiganj. It comes right after crossing the Meghna Bridge from Dhaka.

The park is located around 40 km or a 2-hour ride from central Dhaka. Visitors can easily ride any bus heading for Munshiganj from Zero Point to get to Mana Bay. The visitors need to get off the bus at Char Baushia bus stand. The water park is about a 4-minute walk from the bus stand. The Mana Bay signboard will direct the visitors to the entry point. 

Entry Fee of Mana Bay  Water park

The entry fee of Mana Bay for all adults is set at Tk 6,000. For children between 3 to 4 feet, the entry fee is Tk 3,000. Kids below 3 feet can enter the park for free. There is no additional ride cost in Mana Bay. The attractions and rides can be enjoyed with the entry fee ticket.

Visitors can either book the tickets online, at Mana Bay head office, or in person from the park. Tickets are available on their official website. Visitors can opt for several different modes of payment for the tickets. 

Operating Hours of Mana Bay Water Park 

Mana Bay currently operates every day of the week. During the weekends, the park remains open from 10 am to 8 pm. On weekdays, it remains open from 10 am to 6 pm.
