Method

First, heat the oil and cook the mixed vegetables with salt for 3 to 4 minutes. Then add all the masala and fry for one minute. Add water and boil for approx. two minutes. Finally, mix and cook the magi noodles well for five minutes. Now ready to pack in a tiffin box.

Ingredients

1/ tbsp olive oil, ½ tsp garlic, ¼ cup onions, ½ dry red chili flakes, 1 tbsp tomato ketchup, ¼ tsp chili powder, salt to taste, ¼ tsp sugar, ½ cup chopped capsicum, ¼ cup boiled sweet corn kernels, 1 cup cooked rice

Method

First, take a non-stick pan and add olive oil, garlic, capsicum, corn and fry for 1 minute. Then add the prepared pizza sauce and all ingredients & cook for 1 to 2 minutes.

8 whole wheat bread slices, 4 tbsp cheese spread, 24 thin cucumber slices

Method

Ingredients

3 cups of cooked rice, 1 to 1 ½  tsf of organic soya sauce & rice vinegar, 1 tsf chopped garlic, ¼ tsf salt, 2 tsf oil, 2-3 eggs, Vegetables(optional), ½ cup carrot, bell peppers & cabbage

Method

Stir fried eggs squashed together with onion, garlic, rice and various sauces. Use day- old cooked cold or well cooked rice for best results.

Masala Corn

Ingredients

2 cups boiled sweet corn kernels, 1 tbsp butter, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp chaat masala, 1 tbsp lemon juice, salt to taste. 

Method

First fry the sweet corn kernels with the butter in a non-stick pan for 1 to 2 mins. Then add all the ingredients, mix them well and cook on a medium flame for another 1 to 2 minutes.

Ingredients

1 tsp vegetable oil, 1 large egg, 2 onions, 50g frozen peas, 250g rice, Large roast chicken , shredded, 1 tbsp dark soy sauce

Methods

First fry the egg with half of the oil in a wok and set aside.

Then heat the rest of the oil, add all other ingredients & cook until the peas have defrosted. Finally, mix all well and pack in the tiffin box.

Ingredients 

4 Cups bread (diced), 1 cup peas (cooked), 1/2 cup peanuts, roasted, 2 tbsp oil, 1 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, 10-15 Curry leaves, 2-3 red chillies, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp green chillies, 1/2 cup water, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp coriander leaves

Methods

Heat the oil in a pan first and fry the mustard seeds.Then put all the ingredients except green chillies, lemon juice and coriander, mix well and continue until heated through. Finally mix green chillies, lemon juice,coriander and serve.

Lentil-Mushroom Burgers

Lentil-Mushroom Burgers is a yummy and nutritious tiffin for your kids.

Ingredients

5 buns, 2-3 Tbsp olive oil, 1 onion, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 package button mushrooms, 4 tomatoes, 1 cup cooked lentils, 1/2 an egg, Salt, black pepper, 1 blob of butter with 2-3 cloves garlic (for buns), 5 lettuce leaves, 5 slices of tomatoes

Methods

First, put 1 burger bun in a food processor to make crumbs. Then, take all ingredients except lettuce leaves & tomato slices and make patties. Finally, Place a lettuce leaf, tomato slice and the patty on each of the buns and close with the other half.

Aloo Paratha

Ingredients for 6 paratha's

For Potato Filling: 

2 boiled potatoes mashed, 6 small onions, 2 green chilies ,few coriander leaves,½ tsp chaat masala, ½ teaspoon coriander powder, ¼ teaspoon red chili powder, ¼ teaspoon garam masala , ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder 

For dough:

1 cup of whole wheat flour, 2 tablespoon oil, Salt to taste, warm water 

Method

First prepare potato filling and dough with the mentioned ingredients and divide into 6 equal parts. 

Then give porota shape puting potato filling into the dough and fry with butter and pack in the tiffin box.
