Bangladesh had a realistic chance of whitewashing Sri Lanka after winning the first two matches of the series. However, Bangladesh were completely outplayed by a confident and exuberant Lankan side in the third ODI, losing by 97 runs to the visitors. Bottom Line
Bangladesh player ratings for the ODI series show that with the exception of a few, Bangladeshi players do not have high ratings and that's a major concern in the long run. Because the younger generation must be more conscious of their position within the team if Bangladesh wants to consistently perform well in the international arena. Every player who is given a chance must maintain stability in order to secure his position in the team. Only then Bangladesh will be able to improve its position in the international arena.
