Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) reconstituted its "Athlete Commission" with current and former national players of Bangladesh, following the tenure of previous commission.
The BOA formed its first athlete commission in 2019 for a four- year term as per the prescription of the International Olympic Committee to serve interest of the athletes inside and outside the playing arena.

After the expiry of the previous commission recently, the BOA formed a seven-member BOA Athlete Commission for next four years.
Members of the BOA Athlete Commission are- Farhad Jesmin Lity (former national athlete), Mahfuza Khatun Shila (former national swimmer), M Siddikur Rahman ( national golfer), Shakil Ahmed ( national shooter), Sur Krishna Chakma (national boxer), Mabia Akter Simanta ( national weightlifter) and Diya Siddiqui (national archer).

Meanwhile, Farhad Jesmin Lity made the chairman of the newly formed commision in its first meeting held on Sunday (December 24) where BOA secretary general Syed Shahed Reza was also present.
