The Khulna Tigers defeated the Dhaka Dominators by 24 runs in a low-scoring encounter in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Tuesday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
The Dominators lost the toss and were sent to bat first, but their innings never really got off the ground.
The top-scorer for the Dominators was Soumya Sarkar, who scored a valiant 57 runs off 45 balls, hitting 6 boundaries and 2 sixes. However, the rest of the batting line-up failed to deliver, with both Mizanur Rahman and Alex Blake all being dismissed for single-digit scores, and Usman Ghani and Mohammad Mithun suffering a duck each.
