Bangladesh T20 captain Mahmudullah Riyad has tested negative for Covid-19. The allrounder himself confirmed the news on Tuesday through his social media page.
Mahmudullah had tested positive on November 8. He was supposed to take part in the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) playoff stage. But due to getting infected with the virus, he missed his PSL stint.
“I have tested negative for Covid-19. Now, I am going to start training as soon as possible,” Mahmudullah wrote on his social media handle.
On the same day, Mahmudullah has been appointed as the captain of Gemcon Khulna for the upcoming Bangabandhu T20 Cup 2020 which is scheduled to take place from November 24 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
