Priyoprangon New Year Cup Golf Tournament- 2020 started at Army Golf Club in the capital on Friday.
Quarter Master General Lieutenant General of Bangladesh Army Md Shamsul Haque inaugurated the 4-day tournament in the morning, said a press release of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The tournament arranged with amateur golfers is being held under five categories – senior, junior, regular ladies and veteran.
A total of 700 players, including some foreigners, will participate in the tournament.
The tournament will end with New Year celebration and prize giving ceremony on December 31 evening.
