Dhaka Mohammedan SC advanced to the 2nd slot in the league table securing six points from three matches beating Sheikh Russel KC by 2-1 goals at Sylhet District Stadium in Sylhet on Monday while Saif Sporting Club topped the league table securing seven points from three league outings.
On the other hand, one of the big budgeted team Sheikh Russel bagged only two points from 3 matches.
Mohammedan SC took lead in the match in the very 6th minute. Souleymane Diabate of Mali found the net beating on rushing Russel’s custodian and defender, capitalizing on a long pass from his defense (1-0).
